Do you enjoy a noisy free-hub? Me too!! 🙂 The Star Ratchet upgrade is an absolute must. I've used the 18T, 36T and 54T ratchets and I will say the 54T is my favorite. Or... *used to be my favorite. I never knew a 60T upgrade was even an option! I had to see what it was about!

I’ve put about 2k miles on my 60t, and it hasn’t skipped a beat. When I race though I use the 54t, even though no problems with the 60t and no noticeable wear.

What’s going on Brother! The 60T is holding up well! Zero issues with it. I personally think I prefer the sounds of the 54T over the 60T, 🤔 but for the cost you can’t go wrong. Either one is a NICE upgrade for the Pro51’s, 😎 Are you running Tubeless? & What tires are you running? I would *HIGHLY recommend going tubeless! It’s worth the initial installment hassle, 😆✅ #RobbArmstrong

Hey buddy, always keep an eye on how are the internals doing, if for some reason you have engagement problems and the ratchet get stuck you can have serios head acke by breaking your rear transmission. I've seen this happening down here with these chines stuff, I have nothing against ali as I buy a lot from there, but understanding how the ratchet system works, I personally would not try something, lets call OEM ? but good look, result looks sweat !

Appreciate the feedback! I'd highly recommend the Ali-Express version. I've purchased the OG DT Swiss joints as well and I can't tell a difference in quality or performance. Now regarding the 60T specifically... No issues but I'd go 54T only because I think it sounds better, IMO. Either one you won't regret! #RobbArmstrong

DTswiss is so behind the times with mtbing it is ok with road. When I went from 36t to 54t I thought I was in heaven. Then I went to 72t Hunt and was whoa, then to 120t RaceFace. And think the minimum for technical climbing mtbing 72t is the minimum and 54t is barely adequate. I also got I9 with 692poe and feel that it is too much or nor really practical. I can't really tell the practical difference between the 120poe vs the 692poe, 3* vs. 0.52*, ironically I also have a Onyx instant engagement and those feel the best and something about them, maybe the soft point of engagement but they feel fantastic...the best engagement and feel hub by far.

@@robbarmstrong8702 If you want sound the Industry9 hubs are it. The race face are 60x2 three paw while Hunt are 36x2 three paw (x2 means each set of three paw are out of phase) so both aren't "ratchet" type freehubs but the point of engagement is high...main difference is that the ratchet style like DtSwiss is that all the 54t or in your case 60t (6* poe) engage all at the same time while the 72poe (5* poe) or 120poe (3*poe) at any given time only enage three teeth. The I9 is a 6paw with two teeth on each paw out of phase, so you can say they are 57x2 six paw has 692poe (0.52* poe), known to be the loudest mtb hub, but they do also make road hubs. But road riding differs that all those POE are't needed and can arguably cause more friction thus loss in efficiency.

LOOONG 9days, most of them with german TSA/ZOLL & now Wow, i just threw them in. Into a 370ln Hub and i have to say the sound is completey diferent from youres, i guess cuz my bike is full alloy StreetMtb with super thick slicks and the meater 370 i guess has less vibration but MAAAAN, that sound is crazy it sound like a frckn Hornet swirving youre head. So when it comes to pricing i think 40 euros is ok for some fun part now we will see how many miles/kilometers i can put on it before it disasembles into dust. I assume its gonna last maybe till Autum before it wont stick. ill be back. Just in case i bought another 54T OEM DT swiss kit just in case. How many times did you acutally ride it or dyou have already some durability infos on it ? Please make another video when opening and see the rockdown Cheers @@robbarmstrong8702

Maybe because I’m just listening to it on my phone but I like the sound of the RSL better. The 51 sound too high-pitched almost like a whining screeching sound. The RSL sound solid, a little deeper manly sound.

I’ve been running the 60T for a while now and no issues with *springs. If they were sprung too tight or over-powering in some way, what symptoms suggest that, 🤷🏽‍♂️ If there’s a reason, I find it interesting to know. If it’s a statement, IMO it kinda lacks substance. Like me saying: seems like that wheelset is slow, 🤔 it sounds *random. #RobbArmstrong

You should probably take a closer look at your hub on the Bianchi.....your pedals aren't supposed to keep spinning like that man.....somethings too tight in there or somethings out shape and binding.....you'll get way better results if you can figure that out
