I know that a lot of positive things have already been said about Erica and her in-laws, but I think credits should also be given to Erica's parents, who, obviously, have raised her well and instilled in her the values that define the person she is today. I think some of the things that make Erica endearing are her quiet strength, selflessness, and simplicity. True. They raised a son that cooked and helps around the house when he can and he's capable enough that Erica DOESN'T HAVE TO NAG HIM. That's the reason why she's not nagging to begin with. This is what western men don't understand about asian dynamics. Asian men are more likely to help out around the house especially if the woman looks overwhelmed.
