There were like 10 people in the same situation- they were directed the wrong gate and didn't receive the correction until it was too late to board. Imagine being furious at missing your flight due to airline incompetence and then seeing this footage.

Many years ago an American Eagle ATR 72 aircraft enroute from Indianapolis to Chicago O’Hare fell from the sky in relatively the same manner killing everyone onboard. The findings from that accident (icing boots failed) will likely be used to assist with this investigation and that is why NTSB will likely play a critical role in assisting with this investigation.

No. International Aviation Safety Investigation Protocol, those involved in the aircraft production project must monitor the investigations. France is the country of origin of the ATR-72 twin-engine aircraft, while the engines originate in Canada. In addition to Brazilians, only experts from both countries will be expected to monitor the investigation into the possible causes of the accident.

It wasn't for the economy! Most passengers had good purchasing power. The problem is that they bought a Latam flight, but LATAM hired Voepass to take these passengers. They didn't know this would be the plane. We lost 15 doctors in this accident, heading to an oncology conference.
