Thankyou for wonderful post as always . In particular I enjoyed the elegant selection of musical vignettes for this collection . As I watched I tried to identify the feelings evoked by the photos . Eventually the word " poignancy " came to mind . Looking up this word the following definition perfectly described these feelings , this being - a sad reminder of the passing of time . A moment caught that will never be again . And our lives are made of these moments . Keep up the good work .

The story of the Abernathy brothers can be found on Wikipedia. The faces of the migrant family huddled in a tent in Tennessee appear to be superimposed when looked at closely. Very strange! And the photo “Sunday in Austria” with 3 older women and a child must be much earlier than the stated date of 1930’s, unless they were in costume. Over all, good photos. Thank you.

A few electric vehicles in the video, they were a failure then just as they are now. Some things never change, and some people never learn.

Those I know are very happy with their Teslas. Why do you think EVs are failures?

@@Hallands. They tend to blow up in the garage and burn both the garage and house down, battery capacity is effected by cold temperatures, cyber trucks can’t handle a heavy payload because it drains the battery, try planning a cross country trip with an EV, it would be akin to planning the Allied invasion of Normandy the logistics of the trip. I could go on but I feel it wouldn’t persuade you.

Why would you ever give a picture heading indicating that the picture is 10 years old or was taken 110 years ago. Common sense says give the actual year not some other reference in time. My comment was written 5 minutes ago, but you may be reading it a month from now. f a reference date is necessary, give the actual date. Simple as that.

@@MaggieLogue No its not! A typo is a spelling mistake. This is just a very poor use of a reference. Now you are scaring me. Does anybody know English anymore?

Interesting overall. The picture of the boy who looks like a girl could do with a little more background info if included at all. I see no particular relevance in the current context, but why for instance is „he“ (not convinced it's a boy, you see) wearing a woman’s embroidered shawl and a female hairdo?

The picture of Inuit in Igloolik Nunavut 1965 is incorrect. Nunavut did not become a separate Canadian Territory until 1999. Prior to 1999, the land now called Nunavut was part of the Canadian Northwest Territories. A rather poor picture depicting Inuit culture when the guy is wearing a baseball cap with two curling brooms and a curling rock on the front. Although, the only thing more Canadian would be if he was wearing a Canadian hockey team's logo. Even better --- Nunavut fans of the Ottawa Senators.

I remember reading years ago that when women first started wearing long bloomers & a long sleeved, high neck top with stockings out in public & bathing caps - which were bathers back then - that the older generation used tp faint, citing that the women were mostly naked! I lived where girls shopped in sometimes skimpy bikinis, & nobody batted an eye. Interestingly, the rape & sexual assault rates then were very low. How times have changed !

I absolutely love these videos they are so easy to immerse yourself into them. I could watch them all day long they are fascinating ❤❤❤ there’s always one or two that totally gets me and for some reason this time was the men working on structure. What came into my head ( for some reason) was the seven dwarves and I couldn’t think of anything else 😂😂😂😂😂

Can't read many of your descriptions in the first part of the video.. Your font is way too small, blury or not bold enough to read. Please enlarge it a bit. I cannot do it on my side. I have found this to be a problem on some of your other videos as well.
