How did you get the casket match on smackdown 1?
@bubba86722 жыл бұрын
I love all your wrestling content videos and I love your Halloween videos as well that really awesome but to answer a question about the stats on at least on Smackdown too but you can do nothing about it on Smackdown one all you had to do was go through the ranking system and go about this two ways you can choose you could put the person in the ranking you want then go through take everybody else out and then put them all back in that was originally there save for the WWF title say Dlow Brown and actually make it to where he's the number one Contender for the WWF title or if Delo holds a championship you can challenge for that title don't matter which Championship it is you can do a title versus title match so there's two ways you can actually do that so yeah you can change the ranking system and SmackDown To Know Your Role I did it plenty of times one time I did it with Jeff Hardy which was awesome

That ending was so bitter sweet. I can COMPLETELY relate and it really made me feel melancholy. I was born in 1989, had such similar experiences as you described, and guess what, me and my one remaining wrestling buddy stopped playing the games with Smackdown vs Raw 2008. A terrible game. We started our own WWF btb on here comes the pain, I booked Smackdown he booked Raw, we worked together to play out the matches as well as possible, recorded the events onto VHS, and carried this on until Smackdown vs Raw 2007. We had about 8 school books of full BTB hand written booking. We carried on with 2007 until probably 2013, when at 24 years old life really was too busy to carry it on. I kept all the books, and I think back to those times with a smile and the formations of a tear. Thank you for the video.

As a Playstation kid myself, I feel your pain when it comes to wrestling games. Also, WWE 2k20 is the first time in almost 20 years that Yukes hasn't developed the game. After watching this and seeing animations from the first Smack Down carry over into the current gen gamws, I'm kind of glad.

Great Documentary! My elder brother was born in 1990 & myself in 95. Our 2000 Christmas gift was the PS1 with SM2 the first game we bought. To this date listening to the menu soundtrack of the game gives us the most memorable feeling. By late 2004 we both started to drift away from WWE in general. These games define childhood and our love for the wrestling product! 💯

@@yungblack8714 Where black PS2 discs are DVDs, blue discs are CD-ROM based and were used in the early days of the PS2 but tended to have problems being read by the console (allegedly they have a higher read speed, so spin faster and consequently slip out of place easier). A number of fixes have been suggested including changing the position your PS2 is in (e.g. if it's standing up, lay it on its side and vice-versa), using a composite/SCART cable instead of component, putting folded tape on the top of the disc to weigh it down slightly, and fiddling with the PS2's laser to realign it, but honestly your best bet is buying a slimline PS2 instead (unless you want to risk fucking up your disc/PS2).

50:20 Smackdown Shut your Mouth was the game changer for me. Just Bring It was ok but really lacked a lot being the first to come to the PS2, loved the commentary though. Here comes the Pain was just as good as SYM but something about SYM holds even more nostalgia to me. The roster was great, that year was really good in WWE, the season mode and free roaming around the arena, playing years and years to unlock everything, jumping off the fist and KOR chair, and graphics were vastly improved from the prior Just Bring It. I still remember the first day I got SYM and was just in awe and spent the next few months having fun with the game.

The reason Big Show wasn't officially in the game (as well as No Mercy) is because he was sent down to OVW to drop weight. However, he was meant to be in both games and they started on his model. This is why the Rumble "glitch" happens. If you use a Gameshark there was ways to fully play as his him, as well as Ken Shamrock (who was also meant to be in Smackdown 2). Shamrock's song is also hidden in the game! Also, in No Mercy, if you use a Gameshark you can access Big Show's face and it'll save after you turn off the game for use without a Gameshark so long as you don't change the face.
