I've done some really good things will small cranks this year. My go-to has been the Strike King Bitsy Minnow. The big Bluegill, Redbreasted Sunfish, Flier, and even Bass up to 3lbs. have jumped on it. I hate to say it, but it's even outperformed the Snap Bean, which is used twice with no catches and lost both times in snags because they have no buoyancy so pausing during the retrieve just makes them sink like a rock. :(

That first catch is the exact definition of red ear sunfish. Compare that one to the green sunnies you caught in your more recent video

I just noticed that we live in the same area.. my buddy and I were thinking of names to start and fishing channel and he gave me this name “618fishing” so I went ahead and searched it on KZbin and your channel popped up. i think those are hot shots had some years ago used them for walleye think they where for salmon and trout think made by lure jensen

Definitely look just like hot shots. Still use the bigger versions for back trolling steelhead and salmon in rivers. Awesome lures by luhr jensen. Not sure on smallest sizes left. Thought my brother ordered some 070 or 075's from rapala/luhr jensen last year. The ones in the video look like maybe an 080 size.
