Tony & Susan here, Exciting new styling, this coastal cruiser seams to check all the boxes for this level of buyer. I may be a bit older but I do like the bright open feel to this yacht. The helm is fantastic, it appears in the video to be a 180 degree unobstructed view. For someone like me who is a Captain and spends many hours at the helm it looks impressive.

Very nice boat! I personally found the colors of the interior a bit washed out, but then again I’m old school and prefer a bit of dark colored woods to help break up the monotony of todays more bright, white/cream colored choices. The layout is spectacular for the size, making the vessel seem larger than it is in actuality. Also, the range is quite impressive. It’s very easy to see why this is such a popular choice among those looking for something in this length. Well done Beneteau, and a very nice tour as well!

Agree on all counts! The color helps the interiors seem larger and brighter, but tends to have less character.

It's wonderful. For me, someone who doesn't buy lottery tickets and would need to if I want something like this, my concerns wouldn't be shared by owners in this income bracket. I don't think the interior styling we see in this and so many new yachts today, is going to stand the test of time. I was watching with the fact that the boat was not outfitted with any interior décor in mind but still, it's very sterile inside. No problem for the modestly rich who can change boats like this as easily as their socks. I'm willing to bet in less than 10 years, buyers will look at this styling as Spartan and cold because...well...it is.

While I understand that interior choices are changeable, the interior of this boat was blah. Even some decorative pillows would have helped. It was a nice boat for a 65'. Well done tour!

This is a boat you can take to the Bahamas, the carribean proper, Alaska or Mexico or even Costa Rica, and just live on It for a week or two. Maybe take a captain, but you could handle it yourself with a few lessons that your broker takes care of. Great va.ue for the money. Yes, you could get a used Fleming or Nordhavn for the same money, but it's used and probably already spoken for. Those ads are traps. They don't have those boats for sale. Just buy this and spec it how you want.
@RandomGuyRandomNumber

"You could handle it yourself with a few lessons that your broker takes care of." No, no you could not. If all you have is a few lessons from your broker, that is just enough to strike terror into every other boat owner in the marina and guarantee extensive damage to your new pride and joy. You would be a complete fool to think you can handle a 60 foot yacht with no experience.
@clifbradley
@clifbradley Жыл бұрын
@Random Guy oh joy....you again. Yes, please take my words as literal. Your broker and many of them at Denison are actually captains for superyachts; something I know from meeting them in person, but they can arrange for you to get the lessons needed. That's a service most brokers take care of if you buy a yacht such as this. Of course, afterward, you need to get your Coast Guard approved under 300GT license. But many people don't get that, I am aware. I know from working as a deckhand on superyachts that there are absolute morons that terrorize marinas with their incompetence. Especially around Italy, Sardinia, Mallorca, and Ibiza are rife with 'polo shirt' captains. If you worked in yachting, you know what that means.

@@clifbradley If you are going to keep spouting inaccurate and misleading nonsense while slagging off others for doing the same, then you deserve to be corrected. There doesn't seem to be a single KZbin boat tour video without multiple examples of your ignorance in the comments, and until recently you were pretty much left alone - after all, what's another ignorant armchair expert on the Internet ? But your hypoccrisy and plain nastiness in taking potshots at other KZbinrs who were not even on that video's comments page was beyond the pale. I have met surgeons "in person", but I don't expect to be given free rein with a scalpel, so your meeting a yacht salesman doesn't mean a great deal to me. Ineffective appeals to authority just aren't my thing. Is it possible that your "experience" as a deckhand is not the same as that of a yacht builder, designer, owner, solo sailor and invited superyacht guest, and that holding yourself out to be knowledgeable on aspects of yachting of which you do not have experience lays you open to justified criticism ? For example, recommending a Beneteau over a Fleming or Nordhaven shows you have absolutely no idea about even the most fundamental aspects of naval architecture (the displacements alone tell you everything you need to know if you understand what they mean, but you obviously do not). That is before one even considers the differences in build quality or production methods employed by these brands. As for "spec it how you want" on a Beneteau, compared to a Nordhaven ? You can't. One cannot compare GRP liners with vinyl-edged plywood from a builder that sells 10,000 boats per year with hand-built solid timber joinery from a yard that produces fewer than 20 yachts per annum. Those ads are not "traps" - they are aimed at discerning and knowledgeable sailors with patience, not inexperienced novices who think piloting a yacht is the same as driving a car and think a few hours instruction makes them anything other than a liability to all around them. You can try to back-track all you like, but it is obvious to anyone reading your original comment that you are in favour of inexperienced novices taking the helm of multi-million dollar yachts - whether one has a literal or figurative interpretations of "You could handle it yourself with a few lessons".

@@RandomGuyRandomNumber uh huh. Yep you are absolutely correct. When you read my comments, did your monocle pop off and fall into your glass of vermouth? You really think anyone is reading your rambling diatribe about me? No they aren't. I talked to the guy that runs this channel and even he said he wasn't reading it. Bob doesn't pay him enough. I won't either. I'm sure there are some witty retorts, digs about me, blah blah. Whatever. Next time be succinct. Cheerio ol chap

Like anything, it all comes down to preference. Many manufactures will work with clients to semi-customize the yacht, especially the interior.

You keep calling it 'crew cabin' and I keep calling it 'where my ex-wife and her new husband sleep' area. Then when my daughter gets older, 'where the boyfriend sleeps'. It has many different names, but I guess 'crew area' is ok.

From a design point I found the yacht to be too disjointed. It looked like a lot of pieces parts all put together to look like one yacht. There was not good flow and the galley looked like an after thought. Too many squares and boxes making up this boat. Not my style
