620 HP VF Engineering Supercharged E93 M3 - One Take

We've worked with VF Engineering in the past, testing several of their kits. One of our favorite packages is the supercharger kit for the E9X M3, which brings it up to 620 HP! Juliano's M3 Convertible is another example we love; it's just too bad we had to drive it in a rainstorm!

Maybe I'm alone in this, but I really liked the forward facing GoPro being inside the cabin as opposed to on the roof. I feel like it gave a better frame of reference to the drive with more of a POV vibe. Car sounds great!

Thanks to the rain.......I think you found a subtle change to the OT's, that works. And that's the in-car cam. I never would have thought I liked it better than roof mounted, but after this episode, I think it should the standard(IMO). The in car cam gives a perception that really helps decifer speed and bounciness/movement. Good stuff, sick beemer, keep em coming!

I get why people like it, and I don't really mind changing it, but it's actually a very hard shot to get because of the shapes of windshields etc. You can see the suction up from the other camera in the frame, and it makes the right side of the windshield virtually worthless for seeing with three devices stuck in there. So we can change it, but depending on the car, the quality of that shot will be highly variable.

It would be smarter to have it lika F30 A B C and D. Then each generation would only use 1 step. Porsche are even dumber. :P They skipped 998 for some reason, and went with 991. But they can only make one more with that naming system, for the 993 is already taken :P So they mopped them selfs into a corner! Not to mention that the 911 is a 991, the 718 is a 982... :D

You thought that was bad, uh ? F30 = 3 Series Sedan F80 = M3 Sedan F31 = 3 Series Touring F32 = 4 Series coupe F82 = M4 Coupe F33 = 4 Series Convertible F83 = M4 Convertible. F36 = 4 Series Gran Coupe (EDIT) That's 8 codes for cars that are all based on the same chassis. There is even the F34 BMW 3 Series GT that is in fact based on the 5 Series. So now, you can start crying... And that's until you discover that next gen will have G Code name for regular series and F one for the M versions. What the actual fuck...

You've driven 3 VF cars to date, it would be interesting if you drove an ESS supercharged car and offered some comparison as they represent the majority of supercharged E9x M3's. Also, some footage of the speedo at WOT would be awesome to get a sense of the acceleration.

It is very oily/slippery when you get what little rain you get in Cali. I am from the east coast and I know how it is. Driving in sideways rain is another story all together.
