Well, I have a few Alfas myself, including the Giulia Quadrifoglio Nurb edition, with a Titanium exhaust and a stage 1 plus some other modes like bigger intercoolers and turbos. With 795 HP rear wheels, 645 pounds of torque, is a monster and so much more fun. Also, I own a 2021 Giulia Quadrifoglio, a 1983 Spider Veloce, and a 1987 75 or Milano in the US. You can ceramic coat the carbon like I did, easy to clean.

The only way that this could be an apocalypse vehicle would be if it came with a solar panel field and a huge wind turbine. How much would those options cost? Well, the camping tent for the bed area is $3,000.00😮

I thought I'd never say that an Alfa Romeo and a Cadillac (CT4-V BW) of all cars would be thrilling to drive than an M3. The M3 is a great car, that's undebatable; but it has become so fast it's almost void of all excitement, even in its fully RWD form. Want to take a corner? Wanna break the speed limit? The M3 does it, yet it's so clinically precise that it seems like it's a robot driving, rather than a human. And I'm personally biased towards the Caddy because it has a proper manual that doesn't feel like moving a stick on swamp water, which is my description of current BMW manuals.

That's b/c VLSDs wear out very quickly and are toast by 50K mi.

Hey Matt, my father owned one of the very first 1990 Lexus LS400's on Long Island. It was Pearl White with tan leather interior. He was first on the waiting list at Lexus of Smithtown. He got his LS400 in 1989. It was fully loaded + air suspension. It was so incredible! It was the best riding car I've ever been in! I was 10 years old when we picked it up. Good times👍

I also decided against putting any money into Tesla or Space X after watching how Elon destroyed Twitter. I still respect Space X in some ways for their innovations with the Falcon 9 and starship. The whole Alfa reliability thing is just an ancient meme from some UK car journo that somehow stuck. While it's true that back in the days they could have some silly problems like interior trimmings coming off, and also that their dealership network (in the UK) sucks, they've always been reliable cars. You don't need to look at surveys or "sentiments", there's proper reliability statistics based on actual repairs and Alfa is one of the very most reliable brands, far ahead of basically all german and luxury brands.

I am sorry to say, as a PhD mech. engineer and do automotive for decades, that this vehicle is built on the tech expertise on the level of my 8y old son. A almost laughable and fully embarrassing, dangerous product. A nice marketing artefact or childish design study, not more. Nobody needs it, except some spoiled brats, and it constitutes a gringe waste of resources. A six-cylinder diesel F-150 is better suite for solving any imagable pick-up truck task.
