Don't be discouraged mate. But take this as definitive evidence that you can't cheap out on high performance cars. You're only going to attract negative comments if you keep breaking stuff when everyone has advised you that you simply shouldn't bolt up a larger turbo without supporting mods. Hint, same thing will happen with your Skyline with cheap rubbish turbo etc. Only my opinion, but either your car channel will be about doing stuff the right way, or a cautionary tale to viewers on why you shouldn't do it half arsed - you get to choose which one you think will be more successful

Hi Zach, you were stiff today, but as you have said - not unexpected due to the significant boost in Horsepower. My 2019 E63s puts out around the same HP, but obviously everything around it has been built to take such power; albeit at a lot more cost :(. My thoughts are - you have achieved the power, you like the power, so you should focus on getting this Car back up and running asap; but build up the Falcon bits (ie: Driveline, etc) to ensure ongoing reliability as a priority (inc Oil Pump if the experts feel this also needs to be upgraded as well). This is the car that enabled you to begin your Vlogs, you are passionate about this car, and it is the car we relate you to more than any other. It may take awhile to gather the Funds needed, but do it bit by bit - the journey will make great Vlog content, which your followers will be keen to watch and support.

Torque converter should have been updated and some 6R80 goodies (stronger shaft). Mustangs can run 10s quarter miles with the ZF 6HP26, but I beleive they have a better torque converter. Territory Diesels and Rangers also have weak stock converters. Once the converter blows, you are looking at total failure, due to metal fragments. I service my Trans every 60K km, to be on the safe side.

Feel ya pain mate! My F6 Ute just snapped the input shaft 2 Months back even though it was a billet shaft 600hp breaks them pretty quick, 9k later it’s built “stage 4” monsta torque box with 3500 converter ready for more power! Let us know what you decide to do cause that’s definitely inputs shaft that broke ahah 😂

my bf xr6t has 620hp atw and it destroyed the 6speed auto and the flex plate came loose straight away. this was 8 years ago and after putting a zip kit, front shaft, exedy 1000hp clutches in the box and tack welded the flex plate bolts iv'e done 150,000km and it's still going strong. just change the gearbox oil every 20,000-25,000km and put a good oil cooler on it that doesn't use the water

You car was fine before, just do up the skyline and bring the turbo back to 440hp 620hp is to much for you and the street

I reckon that if you ditched the 2.7 diff gears and went to something like 3.23 or thereabout rear diff gears that the box would survive with a stock input shaft. 2.7s put a hell of load on the box. But yea the turbo does like load. Haven't done it yet but will when I do the bushes.

ZF's are a cheap as chips. There actually quite strong for what they are and as you said your getting up there in power so that's what happens. Watch if you put a built trans in the stress just rolls down to the next weak point and that's how it goes. New (secondhand) ZF easy peasy, thrash, rinse, repeat and not too expensive. $$$ make the wheels go round faster!

I can't imagine using the manual on these gear box's is healthy especially with high power, but the weird thing is the older gear boxes in falcons (according to a mechanic I know from Ford ) whernt made to be used in the manual option but the zfs are built so you can use it on tracks and to go faster. That's zacs luck brake the strong ones but the older weaker ones are perfect for him 🤷👍. Keep the awesome content up mate.

If you can’t afford to build it properly for the meantime, Turn it down to 500hp and get your hands on another stock ZF.. Should at least keep the good times rolling. Then when you have the ability to add the necessary supporting parts, turn the power back up.
