All of the junk stores in Rochester, NY are gone. There used to be some great ones. I looked through your back videos and saw that you did an Ithaca Audio Z80 board. The first computer I built started with an Ithaca Audio Z80 bare board that I picked up at there building. That was early 80. I was working at NCR in Ithaca at the time fixing thermal printer and terminal boards on the production line.

There used to be a dozen here and now we have one left.

@@herbertsusmann986 - Radtronics rings a very vague bell. I started in January 80 after I dropped out of engineering school. First I repaired mostly new build 2600 thermal printers and then 7900 terminals. After a couple years I decided to go back to school and went to working summers only doing terminals. My last summer in production was 82 and I spent summer of 83 in the engineering pit.

Nice finds, the blue and black coax is Enviroflex from huber&suhner, which is like 10 Bucks a meter so you got a pretty good deal. The four small filter components might be VCOs. I came across quite a few and atleast the package matches up pretty good.

Huber&Shuner is Teflon high quality 50 ohm impedance coaxial cable. They're very reliable and recommended. It's a great find, you have there.

Which junk store was this from? HSC closed a year or so ago.

Much of the HSC stuff ended up at Excess Solutions in San Jose. Weird Stuff inventory was bought by a company (don't recall the name) and is internet only.

Anchor Electronics also has a small amount of surplus electronics stuff, but it is primary focused on electronics components retail. Jameco Electronics and Alltronics are local, but primarily mail order only though Jameco Electronics offered will-call before the pandemic restrictions. It is a short list compared to 20+ years ago.

@@IMSAIGuy The one item that you might find useful in their "RF corner" are short SMA M-M flexible hard line jumpers. I find them quite handy when a M-M SMA or equivalent adapter arrangement won't fit the bill.
