The buggy looks great and the machine work you guys do is top-notch. I've never welded or machined anything but I'd really like to learn. It's nice to have the ability to fab parts you need on the fly without having to search for parts online and then having to wait for delivery. Keep up the great work! I really enjoy your content!

Great project! I have a Polaris transmission set up on my buggy, 488cc Polaris snowmobile engine... works pretty good.. I changed the primary clutch spring to a blue but left the secondary (Polaris 350 Trail Boss)like I found it, but I did rebuild it. I am running a four link double triangulated axle but am still working it out, beefing it up, going with an 1 1/4 moly chrome thick wall axle.. I keep twisting them...

Amazing work as always. Just a heads up if you don't know you can look into gy6 scooter throttle cables. I put a mikuni carb on my dingo and found an 86" throttle cable for a modded scooter on ebay for like $12. I'm sure they have longer lengths available. Hope to go riding with you guys at some point. Keep up the good work.

Just use a piece of tubing and sleeve the axle like a piece of 083 whatever the inside diameter that fits over the axle shaft and just do one pass that's all you need

What do you think the best starter go kart would be to start a full customization on I am talking big engine possibly a motorcycle engine 600cc or bigger 6 speed and independent suspension in the front and either independent in the back or a solid axle with some other sort of suspension. I would like to be able to use engine to sprocket with a chain and no cvt . I may be wrong but I believe if I use a motorcycle engine with a 6 speed the transmission would be a solid unit with the engine and I could do this correct ? This would give me manual gear set up ? The goal for my project is to be able to do at least 65mph more would not be a deal breaker just want decent speed I will trail ride this mostly so higher speed isn’t necessary but won’t hurt secondly I want it to be able to hit jumps as I will want to jump it often . I love your channel I found it and use it for ideas on how I want to start and it has gave me many. Originally was thinking I would build a full custom frame but now I am leaning on using an existing Frame to build off from this will save me some time and a place to start . Some feedback would be amazing . Thanks I’m advance red beard and thanks for the links to all the parts in your videos

About the exhaust. Straight back it annoyed you guys. But how is that now? When someone tries to overtake you on the righthandside?
@SportbikerNZ2 жыл бұрын
So you are comparing a less common, brief, scenario (being overtaken on the right) with a common, sustained, scenario (following behind)? Obviously his move deals with the most common problem.

I hate to be the wet towel in the comments but.... I've been working on my buggy build for over 5 years with a Polaris 500 sportsman motor and gearbox and a rear end that's 99% identical to the one that you just put on that go kart I can't get nothing done I have a lack of help I'm disabled not in good health but the thing that makes me mad is when you talk about oh I bought $200 shifter cables and I'm using these $50 heim joints and stuff you know poor people which is 99% of people that watch this don't have that kind of money or tools.
@RedBeardsGarage2 жыл бұрын
Well that’s what it takes to build a quality sxs. Everyone can’t afford it but that’s what it cost.
@SportbikerNZ2 жыл бұрын
Good grief some people. Wet towel is right. Nothing is stopping you buying cheap, low quality, parts. Doesn't mean RBG should.
@vintagetintrader10622 жыл бұрын
There is a easy way around this, shop around for better prices, buy other peoples stalled project and buy other broken Polaris ATV and scrap them, keep all the good parts and sell the remaining parts. You labour is free It’s how I afford to build my projects
