Not every job is a fun or exciting one. There is a good bit of repetition in jobs on a daily basis but take it as a chance to hone your skills.
A few minutes of quick testing and basic tools can get you far when combined with training and knowledge.
Principles like electricity are universal and don't care where they are implemented.

Universal testing methods, and thinking through. Though I have to get back up to snuff on my valve timing theory 🤓

Definitely possible Burt. I'll try to throw a video up once customer oks replacement. Show how it works for those who may not have seen a sending unit before.

I appreciate it Luis. Unfortunately the day isn't always full of the fun exciting case study worth diags. They are all useful excercises though, as long as we can remember to treat every job like it's the most important job.

That was a solid test! I like that and never thought about pulling a fuel gauge up or down with a test light. I can’t wait to try it now

I appreciate it PJ. I absolutely hate taking things apart unless I have to. I want to be in and out as fast as possible.

Solid information in the video. Thanks for sharing. We had a Madvac towed in multiple times for a “Stalling Issue/fuel gauge inop” complaint. Turns out everything worked fine. Operator just never fueled up. Ever! He’d take it out and drive it till empty. & of course no action taken against the driver.

Angel, I'm sure you see aware of him, but Jim Morton stresses the art of customer interview. Its saved me alot of headaches. Here's one of his segments from TST. kzbin.info/www/bejne/aKq1mHWtrbWVqdk
