The illusive perch. Every time I get a good one the pike nobble it. They're not interested in anything under a pound, but a good chub, roach or perch acting strangely on the end of a line immediately attracts the attention of large pike. Some lovely barbel there to compensate, Tom.

Another great video Tom. It’s you that inspired me to join Leeds DASA despite being in Oxfordshire! Some lovely sessions on the Nidd, Ouse and Swale but yet to get a Topcliffe barbel!
