I just seen that Ron passed away. I stayed up all night watching George Jones concerts. Ron was probably the best front man I’ve ever seen. No matter how great George was you can’t not notice Ron. He was so entertaining himself. Thanks Ron for all your great performances! We’ll miss you!

Saw Ron playing bass with George Jones on video from Knoxville he's top notch on the bass and always sounded great alongside George Jones that whole band were something else especially the new Jones boy on the fiddle Mr Jim Buchanan must be the Scottish blood coming through in Mr Buchanan top band they were great

I think Ron should write his story, I know it would be a good one, married to Lorrie Morgan, on stage and the road with Jones 25 years. I've watched Ron's home videos , with his family, all good. A real country boy. I hope you give it some thought Ron, and I hope that there is so done out there who can get behind Ron and help him do it, if he wants too, I would if I could! One of the Boys! Hang in with the Possum, just a couple of title ideas for the book! Do it Ron!

when I lived in Nashville I met Ron. Good guy I called him Boo Boo cause I told him I never knew anyone who could screw up his life like he did for years...lol...he always laughed and when we first met I said my name is a real hard name to remember it's Lori!

He was Lorrie Morgan's first husband. This song is about the girl they had together. Lorrie's son was with Keith Whitley. She was also married to Jon Randall and from there I lost track.....I know that Sammy Kershaw is in there somewhere.
