Love how the exterior shots show the bad guy in a 2-door hardtop, while the interior shots show him in a completely different car altogether PLUS the car is a 4 door.

The 4 door car used for the interior shots of the orange 2 door Catalina🚘 was a 1967 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Custom 4 door hardtop. I bet it was the same black car that crashed into the Catalina at 3:30.

Came in to say the same, I knew it was a '67-8 GM full size 4 door hardtop before the Olds crashed into the Catalina, then I said, "And there it is."

@@realmaindrianpace Me too, though I thought the interior looked more Chev. to me, but you guys may have nailed it.
@CR7659

I picked up on that too, I wonder why they had to use the other car for the interior shots? So many continuity errors here, even the train he swerves to avoid is different - the first train has a Milwaukee Road engine on the first track, the second one has a two tone blue engine and it's three tracks over. But you can see they had done that crash once before, the Pontiac's quarter is damaged before the Olds hits it.

Wow! That's a hell of a sand rail! There was another cool one briefly in Double Nickels (1977). A good theme to Scorchy would be done to the tune of "Sunny" 1966. You should do some clips of 'Unholy Rollers' 1972. It's a pretty entertaining movie, not too bad, with an early performance by Claudia Jennings and a cool Petty Blue '72 Charger SE big block.

All burned up in a fire in California in the early 80s. Clean slate after that. Anyone really want that man-made flammable shit back? Less environmentally sound now. Caused lots of cancer and mental trauma. People got tired of matching their earth-toned refrigerators and affecting the (visual) ozone with all that polyester. Disco is dead.
