20 years of sobriety down the drain for what? Better to keep doing whatever helps you be a fantastic comedian and present dad.
@Eris-_4 жыл бұрын
Sobriety is super-overrated by the American public. There's this thing called moderation, where one can use substances without harming oneself. You probably also think pregnant women shouldn't even smell alcohol. Guess what? That is not based in science. It's just another excuse to try to exert control over other people.
@madcow2k4 жыл бұрын
@@Eris-_ Not everyone has the ability to do things in moderation, especially those who suffer from addictive behaviors. Soberity is a conscious decision made by an individual, not others. There is scientific evidence that inhilation of vapors from alcohol and other solvents does produce negative effects in organisms.
@Eris-_4 жыл бұрын
@@madcow2k There are negative effects from inhaling water and water vapor as well, so you shouldn't drink water either by your logic. Also, If you drink too much water too fast, you'll die. Again, it's called moderation. If you have addictive behavior, avoiding behaviors doesn't stop you from having addictive behavior. You just transfer it to something else. The substance is NOT the problem--the experienced trauma (often but not always unresolved) that leads to abuse of substances is the problem. If you drink too much water too fast, you'll die. It's called "therapeutic range," and it applies to everything we intake--even oxygen. Also, he's taking about maybe taking a psychedelic trip, not drinking again.
@madcow2k4 жыл бұрын
@@Eris-_ Ingestion and inhalation are two separate things. Inhalation of water is called drowning, lol. I don't understand how you can conclude not to drink water from what I said as it essential for survival. Therapeutic index/range refers to "drugs", water and oxygen are not drugs. Also, you brought up alcohol consumption not I.
@Eris-_4 жыл бұрын
@@madcow2k No, inhalation of water is called aspiration. And no, of course you don't understand what I'm talking about. You don't even understand what you're talking about.
