The film was in Bovingdon a USAAF base RAF Bovingdon near RAF Halton which MoD Fire Service firefighter was in the film.

Good try but someone doesn't really understand just what marvels the Mozzies really were. Two men, a bomb load that equalled a B 17 flying Fortress, long range and for much of the war, the fasted 'plane at any altitude, also the most versatile. Something like 1 Mozzie was lost per 2250 missions so also the safest bomber of WW 2, for the crews that is, not so safe for those on the receiving end of a Mozzie's attention. God bless the people who designed, built, maintained and flew those war winning Mozzies.

The star of the show is the mosquito, twin merlins the krauts hated em,low level death,master of all jobs

Particularly the Gestapo. The mosquito squadrons became particularly adept at targeting this particular Nazi organisation

A lot of work and a great result with this. Just one thing jarred with me, the "Mossie" upper surface colour scheme should have been olive green and dark sea grey not earth brown.
