This is definitely the best episode of Emmerdale I've ever seen. So beautifully shot, written and acted, and it brought up so many things I've been waiting for since forever. Aaron's ILY (finally!) and Robert opening up about his sexuality and his past. Just amazing! I can't wait to see what the rest of the week brings!

Bloody hell! My heart is still racing! Loved every minute of it and I can't wait to see what happens next. Danny Miller and Ryan Hawley were amazing - every scene they portrayed was flawless and I was captivated by their stunning performances. You could feel every single emotion coming through the screen and they were incredible to watch. This episode was everything I hoped for and more. We were promised it would be funny, tense, romantic and heartstopping and it definitely exceeded all expectations. That ending gave me chills - what a cliffhanger! Best episode ever.

I love everything about this episode! It was perfect. It covered how Robert really feels about Aaron in a way we can actually trust in, it included asking Paddy for his blessing while pointing out where Paddy's flaws are and how he's failed Aaron as well despite the fact he's still very much important to Aaron, it gave us the backstory we've craved to fill us in on Robert and his sexuality and when and how it all began for him, there was comic relief in there, Aaron screwing up in a way Robert could as easily have done, but for once he hasn't, and, ugh, just, everything. And the proposal! Aaron's always been said to ruin everything good that comes his way without even having to try and to have no luck, and he couldn't even let poor old Robert ask him to marry him without unknowingly mucking it up. These two, seriously, the journey they've taken us all on (both together and as character's we've grown to love and hate at times over the many years), and to get to this point only to have it end like that and to leave us hanging on, it's as amazing as it is horrific. Here's to hoping both our boys come out of it relatively unscathed and very much alive.

Aww Robert had everything set up in the barn but the day's events just made it all go crazy, bless him for getting so frusteated , he really tried. Of course the crash is edge of your seat stuff, haunting end to the episode, but I hope the boys will oull through!! Damn , ED really made us think that lacjlwn holding aaron over the.edge wouls ruin the proposal but really it was Aaron's shock that Robert would want to marry him that made him take his eyes off the road, and there ED goes ripping my heart out. Danny and Ryan were incredible tonight, if only we could get these.types of.episodes every single week !!!

Aaron's first real boyfriend! Aaron was 18 or so and it was during his coming out time. They were together off and on for a little while, with some drama, and they were just getting back together when they had this massive fight. Aaron couldn't tell Jackson that he loved him because he didn't really understand how he felt about him, and now we know why it was so confusing for him because of his childhood and his evil pedo of a father. Anyway, Jackson drives off without Aaron and he gets into a car reck and before Aaron can get there to get him out of the car he gets hit by a train. Jackson ends up a quadriplegic, paralyzed from the neck down. They still end up getting together for good, but Aaron couldn't take Jackson's depression away, he couldn't get Jackson to care about his life enough to want to live, no matter how hard he tried. Jackson ended up convincing Aaron and Jackson's mother, Hazel, to help him commit suicide. They assisted him in committing suicide and Aaron was a complete reck after that! That's the first time he started to cut himself, after Jackson's death! There was this whole aftermath thing with a trial as well, but Jackson had made enough video footage telling them that he wanted to die and that Aaron and Hazel were not at fault, that the jury passed a not guilty sentence and let Aaron go, but he still couldn't forgive himself for a long time! He had himself convinced that he didn't try hard enough in trying to convince Jackson that life was worth living, and that he did kill him and he still had residual guilt about the crash and what happened to Jackson because of it. It just got to be too much! It took a while to get himself back together! And the turning point was Chaz! It took her threatening to cut herself too in front of Aaron, for Aaron to snap out of it and let everyone help him! Anyway, there's other stuff in with this, put that's the abbreviated version. If you want to watch it, the storyline started in 2010. Check out (119) Aaron's storyline March 2010. I'm not sure if that is exactly the starting point but it's close

These guys have such comic timing when they want to. Talking with the cop was hilarious. Don't look too guilty guys... LOL! I'm surprised the cop didn't arrest them just for that. And the look Aaron gave when he heard about the car driving erratically was great. "Next time lads, get an hotel eh? You'll catch your death." I nearly spit out the water I was drinking when I heard that. Loved that cop. BEST PROPOSAL EVER! Funny as hell... at least until the crash. Never propose to someone in the heat of the moment in a car while said person is driving... nuff said.
