The Stealth 64 VVT is a drop-in, bolt-on, stock-appearing turbocharger that offers a snappy response, lower EGT's, and turbine braking - supporting up to 640 RWHP.

Is this turbo all plug and play? I’m running atp max effort tunes would I need a retune for this turbo?

Yes it is plug and play and you can run it on the same tune.

So no retune required if running aftermarket tunes on stock turbo? Currently have five position switch on the dash. Simply uninstall factory turbo and install the stealth 64 turbo and done?

I have to replace my turbo on my 2006 duramax because I was told that the up pipes are cracked. They told me that basically the bolts will snap off and I’ll need a new turbo. What would you recommend. I basically use my truck to haul my boat and just drive. Please get back to me. Thank you.

How does this compare with the Danville 66mm?

Danville makes great turbo's. The 66 will have a little more top end but spool up is clearly going to be on the Stealth 64's side. It really will depend on what you want to do with the truck.

Ohh Noooooo, my truck started to whine. Best comparison would be that it sounds like a power steering pump low on fluid??? Only makes the sound when it’s under load, can’t hear it in Park. As a matter of fact, I thought the sound was coming out of my radio at first. Anyway, I have the egr delete, efi live, built transmission, lift pump and up, down pipes and 5” exhaust. I’ll post a video with the sound and post the link. My sons and son-in-law’s are saying it’s my turbo, but they just like to get me to do upgrades. Also, this just started. I just finished putting in a kryptonite steering system, and right after I got done and went for the test drive it was making this sound. That’s what has me suspicious. I even added power steering fluid to see if that did anything.

I put a stealth 64mm VVT on my LMM and having the same issue after about 800 miles. any suggestions?

Jamie Mills Don’t know, I just pulled my stock turbo out and put in a 3794 68mm Danville, and now I’m a whistling fool. I didn’t go with the stealth because Supposedly, it’s hard to tune on the LMM??? I hope it’s okay, my turbo was a bitch and a half to change

I've got a lmm with efi live 120 hp for my high tune. Dsp 5. 4" exhaust . Deleted. 3"y bridge, fass 150. I now have up and down play in turbine shaft. Stock turbo. I want a solid recommendation on what turbo I should replace it with. Drop on that is. Any advice would be great. And I'll then be calling you. Thanks.

Sounds like you have the perfect truck for a VVT Stealth 64. Or, if you have plans of going to a bigger fuel system in the future consider the VVT Stealth 67G2. duramaxtuner.com/turbo-systems/stealth-67g2-vvt-turbo.html

I'm thinking about upgrading my turbo charger but seen you have a 67mm coming available. Still running stock internals with EFI live tunes. About to have all turbo piping upgraded. Should I wait until I get a another turbo before upgrading to larger piping and would the 64mm be a better fit for my truck so that I can still tow when I need to or can I keep my egt's down with the 67mm? I don't do a lot of towing at all but recently installed an ATS stage 2 transmission with billet triple disk torque converter and a Co-pilot controller box. Also have a Fass 165 lift pump. It's a 2008 LMM actually featured in my profile picture in here. Looking to get close to 800HP but doesn't have to be. Slowly building this truck as I can afford to. Also have not had the heads studded yet. According to the previous owner this truck is doing right at 600hp but haven't put on dyno yet. Wanted to get a professional response from a company that specializes in this and Duramax's. I been watching all the videos and really like everything y'all do. Also researched a lot of Gayle Banks videos as well on horsepower upgrades. My truck has about 226k miles on it and runs really strong with lots of power. Don't want to destroy it just looking to get the most out of it and be even more fun to drive. Looking forward to your response!

The 64 in a compound kit is going to be the best towing setup you've ever driven. The 67G2 is a monster on the street and still capable of towing. It's just not going to manage EGTs as well as a compound kit.

The videos are awesome guys keep em coming, my question about this turbo is if my horse power goals are 500 and I'm not planning on exceeding that are there still enough benifits of this turbo over the factory, thanks I appreciate it fellas.

could you guy do a video on if a stock injectors and stock head bolt on a lbz could handle 600 rwhp with all the supporting mods with the stealth 64 on a 06 lbz thank you i really my goal in 600 rwhp i want to get your 750 trans and the 64 so bad i just don't want to blow my engine if i need head studs it would be nice to know what i need to do before i do the turbo
