I'm normally not a huge fan of it, but with a Wolfhowl build, I like Brand on the offhand. The 35% chance to proc amp damage goess off really fast, and you can still attack until it happens in wolf form (and thaks to the Bone Spear procs, you won't leave it on). The amp it procs is level 14 also, that can cover like a whole WSK room. Then that leaves up the merc to use Pride. At that point I'd probably dump Enigma for Fort. And now, that's a lot DAMAGE! (insert meme). Brand is really expensive though, so if you are not a fan of the Beast/Brand necro like I am, it's probably a big investment for such a niche build (although that necro can be made with a cheap Oath too).

question: why telestomp? Teleport near the pack to position the merc then kill the mobs on the outside of the pack. Telestomping to the center = getting hit by more mobs. The Werewolf form prefers to not be hit and requires a high fast hit recovery. Just my opinion. Thanks for posting.

I’m having a lot of fun with a fury druid with max strength. He also has ~600 strength and ~2200 life in wolf form with BO. I’m using my ethereal Tomb Reaver - actually, I made this character because of this find - and a Pride merc - because the lack of teleport. The damage is 6-26k.

Such a dope character. With maxed natural res, maxed iron skin and maxed shout (and BO, ofc) I don’t think any more health is necessary. Tankiest max strength build for sure.

That's the problem with Diablo 2. These single target damage builds have really slow AOE clear speed, and yet their single target damage isn't even anything special, you take way longer for Baal than let's say any other useful AOE clearing build. That is one of Diablo 2s big flaws. No in-game incentive to actually use these single target builds.

I know it's a year since the comment was made but yes the fanaticism aura would stack, the only thing is that a level 9 vs lvl 18 aura adds very little ias and not much ED when comparing it to something like a eBotdz to beast combo

It’s difficult to know without doing a lot of mathematics, because Diablo 2 has a bug with Grief: the game doesn’t compute on chars scream the +350-400 dmg from Grief.

You could keep a Duress on your Merc and swap armor with him for boss kills. It works better with a G.Face, but seeing that you're using wolfhowl, an armor swap could work instead.

@@Dbrunski125 A few ladders ago i had a MF singer barb that i swapped out a gface from my merc and a ravenfrost from my inventory for bosses. On my weapon switch i used a Fleshripper and a "Passion". It gave me Berserk for random Phys immunes and Zeal for killing Act Bosses. Considering I had no points into any melee abilities, it still could kill them in a reasonable amount of time.

I only use 20 life+small charms on the barb which gives +4-5dmg cause it gives you 20 dmg for the points i only use +max dmg with life on it because +dmg charms are too weak without perfect rolls imo, thanks for the vid

I hate how slapping Enigma into just about any build makes it better. Even one with such crazy run speed. Even if you have to shift forms to use it. I wonder if a mod that improves merc AI would balance it...

@@Dbrunski125 obviously, and I do love your build too, I just hate how Enigma wraps the game around it. Wish they just put a cooldown on Teleport once they realized how unbalanced it is, instead of giving it to the other 6 classes. That's just my opinion, in every game I ever played on higher level, I wised developers balanced it on a lower power level.

I'd guess he's in the 8-10k range. More strength on any melee character means more damage. Yes, you need it for gear, but it also increases melee damage.

Try out two hand botd colossus blade. One frame slower than grief but a lot more one shot potential with it. Specially with that kind of strength. And it looks badass

This build really shines on PoD with an area damage jewell. Also Enigma is completely unnecessary, your movespeed is super high, Fortitude is way better. CoH works as well.

i don't think you get + 6 to skills with 2 cta i think its has some cap. normaly 3 wc wepen + 1 cat but you wil get the other stats off the second cta. could be wrong thow i no there was something wired with the barb and skills.

Yes the only difference with grief is the bug where it doesn't show your damage output properly but still applies it when used.

Strength doesn't really increase your damage much when you're using Grief, which has such low base damage. Melee builds are all about the deadly strike, crushing blows & open wounds... Build is interesting, but ultimately subpar to a lot of other melee builds, let alone caster AOE builds.

Str increases your dmg the same whether its botd grief or death. Its just the numbers are hidden because of the flat 400 dmg grief adds and the char screen not displaying that info correctly

On a fun cheap just cast wolf and use full IK. U can max WW to have 2 different play types and only thing u need to swap out is helm

i keep trying to use these non meta builds, but compared to meta builds their kill time is just WAY too slow for all the compromises they are making. like wolf barb vs even a WW barb is hands down, why would u take a semi aoe thing and turn it into a single target glass cannon?? single target builds just dont cut it...

@@mrglowinthedark498 its to take care of hard immunes. no more physical damage needed... players 7-8 baal dies in seconds anyways. You can go and try to revive casters. But skeles are makeable everywhere . Also conviction + lower res , they do pretty okay damage .

Act 1- Crypt, Mausoleum they are next to Blood Raven, pits level 1+2 in tamoe highlands. Act 2- Ancient tunnels in lost city, tal rashas tombs Act 3- All the tombs situated in kurast Act 4- Chaos sanctuary Act 5- Halls of vaught nilathaks temple, wsk lvl 1, 2, 3 and baals throne room. There are more but i cant remember them all.

@@nikolaiczernobog1232 Sure. First of all there's the problem that you can't cast in werewolf form. Second there's this annoying skill witch needs to be proc. You kill the monsters and when you are coming back you are RLY slow. Third there's the fact that the zealer skill of the druid can be interrupted, witch makes it pure garbage. Forth is the fact that the werewolf form in D2 looks ridiculous. Maybe I can find more reasons, but these are the top ones for sure...

Hi, I was just wondering what is the point of making that kind of builds. I mean, ok, if it is for BN the dueling may be superfun with that build(eq), but you have to sacrafice lots of time for finding eq like that not using any supporting programms like bots, right ? US still can play on BN, but lately when i tried to connect to BN on EUROPE it just cannot connect - it's like it is not supported anymore.... :(. So playing on single player its just, i don't know - it just makes no sense to me. I managed to complete hell difficulty LOTS of time without any off the stuff (runewords) like enigma, cta, hotos, doom etc. I mean, where's the point of making these items, when u complete the game ? To play on players 8 ? But still like your videos ;)

Play with PlugY mod where you can share chest with other single player characters. This enables gear farming on your main char for a smurf. Also, there is no lag in single player. 200 FCR is horrible on bnet.
