Never heard of liquid tape. bet that would work great for masking off glass or mirrors. I however, love the dirty backs and the fingerprints and all that paint.

There is a liquid masking fluid in the watercolor department. It adheres to watercolor paper and canvas but it’s meant to be removed when your done with the painting.

Can you use that on the front of your canvas? To make negative space, say an outline or silhouette that you remove after your pour dries?

I have tried several different kinds of top coats. Everytime it dries REALLY fast! ( I ruined a good painting with liquitex it got cloudy right away!) I watch you in amazement how you keep brushing. If I do that it starts to get sticky pretty fast. Only when I put polyurethane on thicker, work fast can I get my canvases covered without sticking. Maybe is it that you are working with smaller canvases? I have to do 2 thick layers to not see brush marks on my 10x 20 or larger canvases. I even have a super soft wide brush. Any thoughts appreciated

The liquid tape looks awesome to use but not finding it in the USA. Was very surprised to not find it on Amazon. Is there another source where this might be purchased? It appears only available to construction or builders companies here in USA.

What varnish are you using? is it from Vallejo? I just got one from Golden...
