That is so cheap. Basic quarters with a bed, space for a desk and a bathroom. No need for kitchen or living room if you are out all the time. This is how people can live on $500 a month.

Should definitely have a kitchen. Too much sugar and MSG in Thai cooking to live healthily long term. Living cheap in the short term causes expensive living in the long term.

Watched this video a number of times & like it all; apartment, neighborhood, availability to all, as you say, you need. Can wander anywhere in the city & return to home sweet home. Being comfortable while scoping out greener pastures is nice too. No rush. The only criticism I have is among your toiletries I didn't see any designer shampoo. Work on that.

Looks good to me. If the bed is too hard for you then a mattress topper will help you. I personally prefer the hard mattress. But, I can easily live in that place no problem.

Do you have any idea how much your place would be if it were about a five-minute walk from a metro? Thanks! By the way... you have the look of a bouncer. Anything beats sleeping under an overpass, I've been there, and I would have LOVED this option. Greedy landlords don't give 2 shits if you have to sleep in the gutter, here in the U.S. Just had my rent raised, AGAIN, and I'm seriously considering renewing my passport and flying to Bangkok, so that I can have some disposable income. The living expenses in the U.S. keep everyone BROKE
