@@RyanShanePalmer Not sure how long you've been there. If it isn't too long then it is already good. I see 10+ yr learners who don't get the tones right. But I guess tones are also the hardest to learn and some people just don't have the ears to distinguish between tones. It took me a long time from being able to correctly pronounce single words to correclty pronouncing them inside sentences and even while giving the sentence a particular emotion.

Curious. At 2.40, the script is 登天堂 (reach heaven). Is it a catholic tombstone. Chinese do not use the word 天堂。

China has the word "天堂",the Catholic translator borrowed this word.Its meaning is the palace in the sky,ancient empress had a palace use this word.

2:57 It indeed should be a shrine or a tomb, my personal guess is a tomb. It set its back on the slope, while facing plain or a pool of water, is a traditional way of arranging tomb.
