Wow. This is an excellent video. Appreciate the thoroughness. I’d like to spray 5 acre pasture for weeds with Kubota RTV 520. Don’t really know much about sprayers so this was super useful. Thanks. Do you envision using your sprayer beyond the driveways?

You definitely could use it to spray pastures. I will not be using this one for our fields and pastures, we have a large one for our tractors to cover acreage quickly. Thank you and I am glad you enjoyed it and found it useful

The on/off works it is just inconvenient on the ranger because my battery isn't on the driver side. Good question, I'm sure you could do a remote.

You're welcome and I think you're going to love it it is really made our life a of a lot easier when it comes to weed control in the driveway and even in broadcasting some sprays in small spots in the pasture

Really wanting to get one of these but haven't been able to decide. I have 5 acres and can not decide between the 65 gallon and the 45 for my Honda 1000-5. It'll be primarily used for my yard for weed control. Anyone want to offer some insight on which one would be enough and the boom options ag spray offers? Also, thanks for the video!

Well nevermind. Was able to find the specs on the owners manual and for Honda 1000-5 the 45 gallon is the only one that will fit on the bed. Thanks for the video.

45 gallons would be enough to spray 4.5 acres. For the most part depending on what you are spraying most herbicides have a mixed application rate of 10 gallons an acre. As far as the boom, a broadcast sprayer like the one in the video is idea when terrain is very uneven, or there are lots of trees or obstacles are in the area you will be spraying. An area that is wide open, or if you live in an area that is typically windy would be ideal for a sprayer with booms.

Not a big fan of the boomless sprayer on my Tractor Supply. It appears to be the exact same thing as here. The product application is inconsistent even with no wind. This was readily apparent when looking at the die pattern where I sprayed. Moreover, the plastic twist knobs were so tight that one of them broke. I went and bought a 7 nozzle boom sprayer attachment and it works much better.

Didn't have that issue at all with ours. The tractor supply one and this one are not the same product. The tractor supply one is a much cheaper and lower quality to say the least. This one has been working well for us for over a year and we spray pastures with it at times.
