I am a 35 year old with CF and I live in Vancouver. I watch this video and I see myself, because I've scooted up and down those very same corridors at the same hospital that is shown in this video. Sadly, I didn't know who Eva was until after she passed away. Now that I have read most of her blogs I feel I am better prepared for the possibility of a lung transplant in the future than I was before I read about Eva.

@lycurgusandnuma thats a terrible thing to say , i had a heart transplant and it saved my life and iv seem what great things it does to people and how it saves peoples life's and it gave me my life back but at the end of the days its there choice and if they choose not to that doesn't make them a terrible person

@lycurgusandnuma -- wow -- tyranny of your point of view is NOT the answer. While I am an Organ Donor I know a number of people with very legitimate reasons why they are not comfortable doing that. Your passion to help is admirable your lack of control over your emotions and your lack of perspective that what you are trying to pressure is deeply personal choice is not.

I am annoyed this video showed a CF patient smoking! It looked like weed. That is what they make marinol for! So you don't have to smoke it. Very disappointed.

@mart775: Hey man, bad things happen but it's still a beautiful world, you just have to find the right "angle" to it, Follow your dreams, if you don't have any, get one, or a few. Go out there, meet people, love the friends you already have and make new ones. Love your family, if you don't have one, start one. Life is just like a Ferris wheel, when you're on the bottom just be patient, and when you're on top, enjoy the ride. :)
