Great job bombero. Safety first 😁 I put some of those on my bay window but I got them from a vw rabbit. They work ok. They get jammed sometimes so I took one off. I probably need to spend the money for some real ones.😁💰

Well I love your improvised solution, and technically your seatbelts are still VW 😎

Good job. One of the first things I did when I got my 66 was replace the non-retractable 3-point belts with the retractable ones. The non-retractables totally suck!

Yeah my instinct said to stay away from those, but wasn’t sure.

Seat belts ✅. Looks awesome!

Awesome! Thanks! My '63 is set up almost identical, only difference is it does need those adaptors for the hole size. Otherwise everything is in the same spot.

Cool! I figured the adapters must be for earlier models but wasn’t sure.

Can I ask where you got your seat covers? Also where did you order your seat belts? Sorry if I just missed it in the video

Hey Harrison I got the seatbelts from JBUGS. The seat covers came in a pile of things I got when I bought the Bug, and I had to upholster them myself. I did ask the PO where he got the seat covers at that time but he didn’t remember. They have a Wolfsburg Westy look to me but can’t say for sure.

I’m doing the same in my ‘64, I got it redone but will slowly do the interior. I need seatbelts too but want them front and back. I opted for 3 point, non retractable in front and lap belts in back. How do you attach the shoulder harness, what are you attaching it to? Also, do you have a rear seatbelt video?

Good clean interior is the icing on the cake…I’m not there yet. My shoulder harness bolted into the window B-post. On mine it had a threaded hole there, and I had to order a bolt. Ours are only one year apart so maybe you have that same hole?
