HP has made my top 3 list of shows I watch daily on youtube. They are Humble Performance OK, Dead Beat Garage from AZ. and Pfi Tuning out of Colorado. HP is a 10 hour drive for me. I can't weight to take my current project there to be tuned. I built for 700hp. Hoping to get a solid 600hp tune.

Yo the first pass you guys videod that nitro b series crx made was stupid fast , hauling some serious serious ass down that track , didn't get the best launch but once he got in top end of 2nd that car was straight up OUT, this tore down that track like a demon man , what was the eta and trap on that Crx's pass against Alex

Loving the vids, putting serious thought into buying one of your budget setups / fuel kits for my EG. I'm a little scared of blowing up my trans immediately ( 6 spd, stock honda lsd, 4.7 FD) . I've had two friends shred 3rd gear from traction issues after shifting into 3rd quickly on boosted K setups. Do you guys have any recommended transmission packages or gear sets to pair with about 475-525 whp ( this is my target HP range )

No modifications under the valve cover to the cyl head , cams , valves nor any mods in the engine block with sometimes one small exception being the addition of a k20a2 oil pump conversion , say yeah stock when they say that they literally mean there are no motivations except external bolt ons , and one seriously bad ass tuner , of course thst being Alex , gonna seriously try to get my brother to drive the 18 or so hours from NY to his shop in I think oklahoma , to tune my brothers fairly well modded 8th gen SI sedan which has been running off a Kpro base map preset for 1.5 years now roughly and it rips for such a heavy car , I could only imagine how much more power his set up could put down if he had someone on the level of alex Dyno tune it finally.

What does "stock" mean in this context - no headwork, no rods, no pistons, etc? K20 motor + turbo + E85 = 650whp? That "stock" or completely worked, but stock stroke and piston size? P.S. Generally when they say it's stock turbo'd k20 or k24, or B series , yes they are saying there are no aftermarket parts under the valve cover or in the engine block with one slight except able and necessary mod alot of the turbo k24 guys do which is conversion to a k20a2 oil pump , but other than that all mods are external. I find it interesting how the all motor cars seem a lot quicker with the tightest gear ratios in the 5 speed and or 6 speed if they choose when using a K motor , but the same motors boosted seem to run much quicker times all aroukd better slips when using the 5speed k24 trannies , instead of the 6spd. I guess it does make sense cause not all the cars on this channel are equiped with the proper clutch to always hold down the power reliably which tends to make them at times struggle to get into the gear , have to short shift , or worst case sometimes get fully locked outta the next gear, but if the clutch holds strong for a few passes the largely stock k motor turbo cars running faster slips with 5spds make sense cause if the rev limiter is high enough they can cross the trap in the very top of 4th and they also have a considerably longer geared 1st gear and 2nd , well all gears are longer but especially 1st gear seems to be of the greatest benefit from what I've watched , as long as your shifts are able to made well , technically in reality your staying in boost through each gear for a longer amount of time , which can help a lot of cars run quicker times , but not all the time , I'm an all motor guy so I'll always go with the tighest gear ratio's possible , but a slightly longer first gear, basically how street bike trans is commonly geared, the shorter gears or longer gears and which is better in boosted cars and all motor cars is an age old argument thst I really dont think will ever truly be settled. I think in the end it comes down to each individual cars build and mostly the driver big time makes an enormous difference in better slips as well as more consistent too , some people simply are born to drive anything and everything like they stole it and do so every time like a boss, others no matter how much practice they may get simply can never get as good , because like each build anf car , all people also are all different in our own ways , I wouldnt ever say that's necessarily a bad thing , most the time I see it as a good thing for the individual. Really still drooling practically over that nitro B-series all motor Crx , that rhings first pass had to have been stupid fast cause that car was Fin hauling serious ass from right outta the hole to across the trap , id love to know what iys eta and trap speed wete for its first pass in this video, the one where Alex was heading off against it in I think another all motor bubble if I remembrr correctly , and Alex made a good pass but that crx blew past Alex's car in 4th gear like t was literally going backwards or some shit, the Crx and ef flat backs are where the Honda tuning scene began ,.cracking vtec in obd0 b16a1 crx SiR's and their sister flatbacks, from dsy one the crx proved to be a ruthless chassis that would when built right eat the shit outta most any and every car thrown at them especially in circuit racing and time attack, then later in drag racing , and even today it proved its still the boss of all Honda fwd cars , IMO at least, I also had a couple of them as well as an ef hatch so I'm somewhat biased but hey that's why it's just an opinion. I often think about imaging going back in time on some wild mountain pass in the middle of the night in Japan in summer 1988 and hearing and seeing way the hell back 34 years ago dohc Honda vtec cracking and bouncing off the rev limit building the foundation that like I said literally started this all , I just cant believe b16's with dohc VTEC redlining at 8250 actually were created so so so ahead of their time way the hell back in 1988, blows my mind , I was 5 years old then and thought smokey and the bandits trans am was the king of the road back when I was 5 , and thought all my uncles old muscle cars were bad ass growing us as a very young teen , that all changed the first time I took a ride in a 1989 crx Si with a supercharged dohc "zc" D series jdm motor and the rest of the car built for time attack and or autocross , all those muscle cars of my uncle's turned into piles of junk within 30 seconds of my first ride in that Crx , then when I was 17 and got to drive a brand spanking new ITR alone for about 15 minutes and redlined it in the first 3 gears a few times it was like the gates of heaven opening in front of me when I heard that ITR crack vtec , and all muscle cars just became embarrassing jokes from my view point from that moment on word , btw the ITR belonged a to a buddy of mine who literally just bought it a few days earlier, after getting a serious sum of money through a lawsuit settlement for his father unfortunately being killed in a work related accident, that shouldn't have happened if everyone working with him, were doing their jobs properly , it was really shitty to watch my friend in pieces the afternoon when his mother got that phone call nobody ever ever wishes to recieve, it devastated him, completely changed who he was instantly.

That's exactly what he said , my reaction was similar , that crx was freaking hauling ass seriously hard on the first pass of it that they video taped racing Alex in a bubble I think , I'm dying to know what the et and trap speed was for that crx on thst pass cause that thing had to have been deep deep into the 9's at least on that first pass recorded , thing was absolutely ripping down that track , blew past Alex in the hatch in mid 4th gear like Alex wss going backwards or some shit. Proves the B's can still keep up with the K's as well as that the Crx will always be the original Honda racing boss of all chassis

Hell I'd be amped up to have a 350-400hp tamed boosted k motor swapped civic quick enough to hit very low 12's and high 11's at best , just wanna be able to take out most lightly modded newer mustang gt's I'd come across , challengers , wrx's and anything of German origin , especially VW's and Audi's ugh they nake me sick, and the dudes that always drive lightly modded 2.0T's are always the biggest "tool bags" you can come across .
