Mrs Gay...your garden has always been very impressive and will be again Come Spring (that was one of my Mama's favorite songs, done by Dottie Rambo. As it turned out, Mama was gone suddenly in 2000 in mid-March...just before Spring, like in the song. 😢) Thank you for the garden tour...I'm encouraged that mine will happen this year too! ❤

That a nice starter plant container, nice and sturdy. The higher containers will be nice, I am considering something like that to fill a spot where we took out a large pool with a deck around it, I might try some of those, make it harder for the animals to eat the few things that I grow, hopefully. I got the Epic starter system as well. I can’t wait to get my seeds started. I also got my raised beds, for the same reason. I got mine at the end of season sale last year. Those along with my GreenStalks will make me happy.

I have a greenhouse Troy made me from cattle panels. I put my plants there in the winter usually to protect them. This year, I brought them into the sunrom. I hope to use it for planting next winter....a place to go putter around gardening when its too cold outside to do it!

I was so saddened to hear about your chicken babies. If I had any, they would be pets more than food. Many years ago, my Mom had Rhode Island Reds and and they were so sweet and gentle. She couldn't bring herself to slaughter when they got too old to lay, so she gave them to a farmer friend . People are so heartless sometimes with pets that they signed up to raise. So happy that you are planning your garden. We have been preoccupied with my husband's recent cancer diagnosis and have only been thinking about a garden but have not had a moment to order seeds. In and out of the hospital, radiation and immunotherapy and all the other ugly things that go along with it. Not curable but we are trying to get some additional time together. Please pray for my husband, Tom. Cancer is mean!!

Oh, I am so sorry. I will pray for Tom. We have delt with cancer on multiple occasions. It is mean! Just remember.....there is no expiration date on the bottom of Tom's foot. God has it all in His plan.....when God says come.....that's when it will be. Trust in HIm.....do all you can....enjoy every day you have together!
