I have two fantastic country grandmothers that were great cooks but they don't cook like they use to when I was younger and now that I'm older and can learn I wish they did so I could learn from them. I've never tried fried pickles, boy they looked good! Those Mozzarella Sticks look fabulous and double dipped, that's the best. We've been praying for all you folks affected by the storms. Please pray for Oregon it's burning down, so much of our forests are on fire.

I’m so very pleased to see and hear you much more chipper and bright than in the last video. It’s sensible to only tackle bite-size pieces of the clean-up. Shame that there has been even more rain. If only it were distributed more evenly, such as to the places experiencing fires.

So glad to see you Gay! We were without electricity for 4 days. Our tree debris is gathered up (thanks to my precious neighbor) but not picked up yet by our trash folks or the county. I know what you mean about no help. We have no other help and can’t afford to pay anyone. It will just take time for our back yard. So glad you are ok!

Oh, I love both. I’ve never made either one, but, I should because my grandchildren love them. The first time we had fried pickles was in Great Bend Kansas in 1979 at a Sonic restaurant. They called them “Pickloes”. We loved them. 😊

Proof of a good cook -never add unnecessary water. The goal is to never have any liquid left after vegetable is eaten. Keep the flavor and nutrients in the food, not down the drain. Good job!

God bless you my friend. It is so hard as we get older to clean up and do things. My grandson came and helped me drag big limbs out and then we bagged up all the small stuff. It’s not perfect but I just have other things I need to do. Today we’re getting rain and the temperature is down which is a blessing. My husband is gaving health problems and is losing his strength. He stll is trying to work. He’ll be 76 in September but we’re taking one day at a time. Our Heavenly Father knows. Thank you for sharing. I’m late watching this.
