This was fun to watch, I miss potato patties. We always had them from leftovers growing up but Hubby has never liked them so I don't make them anymore unless I get a hankering and make a teensy tiny batch. Yours looked scrumptious and yes, please ketchup with those. It would be nice if you got an Amazon Storefront. Ever since those Scrooges did away with their Amazon Smile program I have tried to find ways to get those extra pennies going to someone deserving. Have you ever considered gathering questions from your subbies to do a Q & A video for times when you don't feel like filming cooking? You are so kind and thoughtful to continue to prompt people to pay attention and get some food and supplies stocked up. You sounded like you felt so much better today, I'm thankful for that. Stay well and be blessed.

Thank you for sharing these. My mom used to make potato cakes (that's what we called them) for us. I'm with you, I always put a pat of butter on mine and catsup and mashed them all up. Yum. I can taste it now. I absolutely love your apron, and thank you for sharing those kitchen goodies. I have several of them, but the pepper grinder and silicone lids/covers I don't have yet. I'll wait for you to get your Amazon store set up and order them through you. I also wanted to tell you that I think you are doing amazingly well. I lost my husband 13+ years ago, and I'm only now starting to fall in love with cooking again, thanks to you and many other KZbinrs who have taken me along on their journeys. I'm learning to can and preserve and just be purposeful in everything and absolutely thankful for my blessings. I count you as one of those blessings. Catching up with you at the butcher block. I had a big disaster in my apartment a couple weeks ago. My ceiling collapsed at the front hallway. They finished the repairs. It was nerve racking and a big mess. Thankfully I and my cat wasn't near where it fell. Maintenance man said the a/c unit line was stopped up and leaked into the ceiling. I didn't see any leaking so it was quite the surprise. The repair men said if it has came down on me I would have been badly hurt but thank the good Lord he protected us. My Momma used to make this from left over mashed potatoes and I have made them for my family too.
