Holy cow, I got a headache just watching! Must have been insanely loud in there! Beat Note looked really cool, would be awesome if you could export to midi, even though it’s designed for notation. That looks way easier to program than most drum software. There’s a great custom builder up here in Canada called TRS Drums. They do repair, vintage stuff and have their own line of kits. @65Drums4 ай бұрын
I think it's already possible, you'd have to put a cage inside of another cage. But it's just stupid expensive to pull off
@pleaseandthankyou41614 ай бұрын
@@65Drums True, that might be a complicated and expensive build. I’m currently working on software that can take in any low or high volume input using standard drum mics and transforming it in real time to a quality drum sound. It’s not sending midi or triggering a sample but using the input as a building block to augment and transform the sounds using machine learning. It’s quite challenging but I want to settle the electronic vs acoustic debate forever. With low volume input (mesh heads and lv cymbals) you can call it electronic if you want but it’s essentially acoustic but great sounding. You can then use brushes or rods and the system trains the models as you play making it better over time. Essentially any sound getting passed in can be transformed even the squeak of your drum throne or bass pedal. But yeah, lots of stupidly complicated work ahead.

Drum shows are like the music charts nowadays.. it's all been done before and it's the same old same old or some weird obscure idea that isn't going to take off.. I did like the wrench for wing nuts/bolts on the drum kit, why hasn't someone thought of that before

I don't go to car shows to say: "it's all been done before" and "all these new inventions are gimmicks" I'm there to have a good time and celebrate the hobby.

20 hours is sus as hell to make a drumkit, or he meant like per drum.
I am sad at every convention Or clinic I have ever attended And there have been many . No one ever had a kit of any kind Set up for a true left handed player Such as myself . It boggles my mind that drum techs do not set at least one kit up in the left-hand configuration. Granted, I can play right handed, but not to the best of my ability. Are we Really still that much of a minority?
