by far my favorite designer and team building cars right now I look forward to seeing what they come up with every time I turn on the TV I see something new by them or something old by then it just blows me away it might sound corny but I'm glad to say I live in this time with the technology the internal combustion engine this team of guys building cars like this it's a great time to be alive. yes have you guys ever done like a cord 812 supercharged or like a 1972 MG V8 roadster with a big V8 or better yet a Hayabusa V8 11,000 rpms can be fun too, sorry im babbling just sitting here dreaming lol

Their builds are incredible. You can see orange peel and panel gap issues on a lot of the TV builders’ cars, but not theirs. These cars are worth the price of entry. I love unique builds and need to post a video of my twin Yamaha R1 swapped Mini Cooper. It’s a custom 1 of 1 build.

Awesome cars, all three of them. I watched the shows when they built them. The fact that the Corvettes are all carbon fiber body is astonishing‼️ I remember from the show that the car with a full tank of gas weighs 3125. With 673 hpw & 618 pounds-ft of torque these two Vettes have to haul ass!!!! I want to get in line for one as opposed to the new Corvette ZO6 that the HTC weighs over 3800 pounds with less power. Amazing C1 Corvettes!!!! Love the hidden stereo in the car and a trunk large enough for 2 golf cart bags!!!

I'm kind of wondering what the CF1's would end up being registered as? I'm not at all familiar with Utah's MV codes. But I would doubt that they could be registered as a Corvette since the chassis were not produced by GM. Are these cars considered as kit cars? or specialty assembled vehicles? Or is Kindig-it Design recognized as an actual motor vehicle company in the same likes as GM, Ford and Chrysler? However they are registered. There is no denying that the design, enginering, fit and finish of every project Kindig-it Design is involved with, is truly outstanding. The talent and dedication of every member of the Kindig-it team is phenomenal to say the least.
@RobertLewisHUB
@RobertLewisHUB Жыл бұрын
That’s a really good question. I didn’t see any VIN plates on the cars last year, just the number plate for each car’s build number. After reading Utah’s rules for titling, it sounds more like a Specially Constructed Vehicle since the frame is a new piece. Either way as you said, Kindig-it Design does amazing work and far superior to most other motor vehicle companies.

Just wondering, where do people get their money for their highly priced “collector cars”. Getting tired of seeing Mustangs and Cameros at these auctions, so they can store them in their industrial buildings. I love rat rods and 60’s garage band music along with a lifelong love of hot rods. Thanks for reading my whining. Love Kindig Designs. Thanks again.

BJ has a restoration business, restoration shops will sell their builds for publicity, and bored rich dudes will also commission builds. Kindig has some well thought out projects with high quality attention to detail. Anything can be built, it just costs money. Many of these high profile collectors are titans of their industry. They figured out how to be better than the competition and are now having fun with their earnings. Take what you’re passionate about and be the best at it. You’ll have enough money to also make bad decisions 😎

They were debuted at the SEMA Show last year. Only the silver CF1 was inside and the white CF1 and Mustang were outside under a canopy. Inside space is at a premium, but they all should have been inside. Maybe they wanted different exposure by being outside in a different area.

@RobertLewisHUB
@RobertLewisHUB Жыл бұрын
@@tommorgan1291 I hear you. It’s a recognizable design that needed modernization and improvement. Much easier to start with a base or inspiration than to use a completely blank canvas. Plus, it’s easier to sell them and make your tooling investment back if there is already a market for them. Not many builders have succeeded in building their own cars from scratch - Look at Jerry Wiegert and Vector Motors/Aeromotive. He blew through millions and his company failed, but he was able to make 19 W8s before he lost control of the company. I actually own the original prototype and molds for the “Vector” when their (Lee brown or Bullitt Mustang fame) company was called Vehicle Design Force. I’d love to see it come to life sooner than later. Wild wedge shape.
