Just letting you know the giants offensive line has been really good this year. They benched Evan Neal and since then the line has been one of the better pass blocking lines in football through three weeks. Andrew Thomas is a superstar tackle and he had a rough game against Myles Garrett yet the giants line was able to overcome that jones was able to avoid some sacks and had just enough time to get the ball out. So far the giants offensive line has been far from a problem, I dare say it’s been an advantage for New York

Zac is right. There isn't much else the Steelers can do in 2025 with the QB position. Justin (so far) is their best option. There isn't much else they can do to raise their ceiling.

The problem with Miami is the offense is too reliant on timing, anticipation, motions, finesse, etc. and lack the ability to play physical especially in short yard situations. I mean Miami’s defense handed the offense the ball at Seattle’s own 6 yd line and they still weren’t able to score a touchdown. It’s not so much Tua is limiting the offense as this offense and scheme just lacks the physicality in general (especially on the oline) unlike other Shanahan based systems (49ers, Packers, Rams)
@88thstreetpodcast84Ай бұрын
100% this. I think MM is good but he doesn’t embody that spirit of physicality especially for a team that has a solid run game. This defense lowkey keeps Miami in so many games and the offense slacks so hard. It’s a shame because with so much talent you should be winning games and with a valid score. Nathan may be right with MM not being the play caller but rather the play designer.
@russg9371Ай бұрын
You really should erase that last line. Their HC is a part of that system. They were all together in Washington, MM was Kyle's OC before he went to Miami. Up until now, the Packers were criticized for their lack of physicality. Granted that was for the other side of the ball lol
@rainman11Ай бұрын
@@russg9371 no that’s my point. McDaniel is the only one from the Shanahan tree that relies more on finesse than the rest. Green Bay in the past may have not been as physical but this year they currently lead the league in rushing and you see the impact that has as they still manage to win games despite their qb1 being out.

I’ve seen some breakdowns of the Miami-Seattle game and on a lot of plays there were guys open it’s just Skylar lacked the anticipation and quick decision making that Tua has to know when a guy is open. Plus some of McDaniel’s play calling was questionable as they were having success running the ball but he wouldn’t commit to it.
@Dose561Ай бұрын
I’m sorry but homie has a good point. Good teams aren’t fazed by the dolphins bullshit and Buffalo keeps beating them no matter the coach or coordinator. They need to start from square one cuz this ain’t working.
@DuyordieАй бұрын
I don't understand Nathan's argument on the Steelers . Being 9-8, 10-7 every year is better than losing every year. Only one team wins the Super Bowl. If my team is in the playoff with a chance to win, that's all I can ask for. It's any given Sunday. Don't forget the 9 win 6 seeds giants team that took down the undefeated super team New England
@Pharm213Ай бұрын
For real. I didn’t understand his perspective. If they are winning games, above 500, making it into the playoffs, I mean idk what else you would want. I agree with Zac in that, there really isn’t a better option out there for QB at this point in time. If you go 9-8 or 10-7, run it back with fields.
@nathanhawthorneSOSАй бұрын
I’m in favor of winning championships. Not being viable enough to be a wild card team. This team has had no plan since Big Ben, AB and bell split up. I would be frustrated if I’m a Steelers fan. I get not a lot of better options at QB are out there. In order to get one you either have to draft one, or get one in free agency. They missed on Pickett. What’s next?
@DuyordieАй бұрын
@@nathanhawthorneSOS every year the team has tried to get better. Sometimes it doesn't work out like Kenny Pickett. I am a Steelers fan as well. The fact that we are a stable organization and make gradual progress is a good thing. Every year the team over performs and play their ass off bc they want to win the Super Bowl. If you want use to go out make big swing moves and bet or tank for a "better qb" maybe you're better off being a browns fan. They do that every few years.
@Sea_StallionАй бұрын
Everyone that isn’t a Steelers fan hates watching the Steelers stumble into the playoffs only to get blown out. The Steelers went from Super Bowl expectations to let’s be a little above average ( that’s the Raiders goal for the season)
@nathanhawthorneSOSАй бұрын
@@Duyordie Kept Matt Canada two years too long. Maybe someone else could have developed Pickett? Knew Mason wasn’t the guy when he was behind Ben. Continue to have the most expensive defense in football so that they can “slightly” over achieve. You don’t give out awards for barely being over 500 every year when you can and should be better as a championship caliber organization. As a Steelers fan yourself, you can be satisfied if you would like. As a non-Steelers fan, I hope they find what they are looking for with the justin fields experiment.
