This was cool. I would absolutely love to see you go through the process of finding, testing out, and rebuilding if needed a 4BT to put in this truck. Looking at doing the same to a Suburban of this era. Found a nice running and driving with very little rust (some surface patina) '72.

10 years ago I bought a 68 short bed with a wood floor and rear coil shocks all stock and original truck. My dad and I dropped it 4' all around with rear and rare air camel hump shocks, rewired the whole truck and installed electric windows, locks, ac and a new 700r4. Original 350 ran great but I had a well build 400 to go in it. Took care of most of the little amount of rust. Had it 6 months drove it for 4. First week out friend's girlfriend closed a metal gate as I was going thought it and creased the side of the bed about 2 foot long. The next week a bitch in a 98 4runner ran a red light and t-boned me. Cop said it saved my life. Paid 8g's for it, put 4g's into it and got 2g's from insurance. I fuckin loved that truck!

he might be a horder but he is organized , wouldnt be suprized if the truck still has all the parts and there stored in locations he can get to without climbing over everything i seen garages that were so full that all the parts had to be taken out to get at some of the parts needed , turned out it was less expensive in workhours to just get the patys new

Hey, Lucky! How did you attach the hoist to the cab to lift it onto the frame? The end of the hoist was just outside the video, so I couldn't see it. I have a '69 that I need to pull the cab off of, and I'd like to try the technique you used.
@rustysausage696 жыл бұрын
Idk if youll see this, but what are the specs on the cam that was in your 66 chevelle before the supercharger? I've got a LQ4 going in my 69 someday/month/year. Gotten a bunch of inspiration from your car, thank you :D
