I drive 300 kms from the city where I live to my farm on the highway. Been driving that road since 1994, so I know the road. Which makes a lot of difference as opposed to driving elsewhere. In this case, the track isn’t 300kms, and you know each and every corner, bump, very well. Makes a huge difference.

I was always a big fan of the old Porsche 928 & the AMG GT strikes me as the 21st century version of this car. GT-R engine sounds better than the Black Series due to the 90 degree V8. All in all, nice vid.

What makes worn tires bad (in dry conditions)? The tread is only needed in wet conditions, so what is it?

Not true. The thickness of the thread adds to the grip. Also different heatcycles will make the rubber go bad.

Well unless you want to meet your maker before you are supposed to, you would get a new set of tires no questions asked. Btw those are still fine for the track(only dry conditions) but if you drive it daily and it rains, well lets just say it wont end well for you and your car.
