Sadly this car is so fast the usual Nordschleife Tourist does not even see it coming and forces you to hard break almost all of the time. Thanks for sharing both laps and for also posting Lukas footage. That's not the engine. That's the speakers and honestly it's not even just a bad sound it's even an earrape. I couldn't hear what they were saying.

@@EliullGameplays It's sort of a sound generator. They take sound from the exhaust and amplify it electronically in the cabin, same system they use in other AMG cars. I think the camera filming this is not doing a good job picking it up, it does sound better in person. It would be a bit too quiet otherwise, unfortunately.

I both agree and disagree. In the hands of a driver that is anything less than very respectful of the safety of other drivers, yes it would be dangerous. But that’s not why anybody gets on track here. Everybody that drives the ring is aware of the risks involved, everybody there signed up for this kind of event. This location is known across the planet for fast cars and fast drivers pushing their machines in a location where everybody involved signed up for that, don’t neuter it.

So much respect to those cars being overtaken. Holding their line where it's appropriate, indicating when they're ready to be passed. It's such an undervalued skill, seeing these drivers being aware of the fast approaching car, but if it's at the wrong time, they'll just hold their line (as they should) and then when the opportunity presents itself, they'll make sure the pass is clean. Respect!

Absolute unit of a car! It’s insane to me how fast F1 cars really are when this is the pace car and F1 drivers keep telling them to speed up because their brakes and tires are cooling down. Both laps were blistering and it just gets through traffic like they aren’t even there..

@@HelixBeats98 they aren't twice as fast only around 1.3x to 1.5x depending on the track, take SPA for example the fastest F1 lap time is 1:41 (101 seconds) and the fastest road car is 2:23 (143 seconds) so the F1 is 1.4x fastest no way near twice or 2.5X for 2.5X the F1 would need a lap time of 57 seconds almost half the current record

Really hard to describe the sound. It's a flat-plane engine, but it doesn't sound like a Ferrari (nor the new Z06). Neither does it sound like a typical American V8. But even more unique is that it literally sounds like someone's pressing on a wah pedal instead of a throttle pedal after 6K... I don't think I've ever heard anything like it. ...And apparently it's fake sound pumped through the speakers... Wunderbar...

Yep. Also I usually had the best grip at around 80-90 celsius, but I think the pressure was the reason for poor grip at that temp.
