Packers’ fan. This is the right take. So many comments about how Caleb played “much better”. That’s half the story. He’s the same QB he was last week. Has great potential but he’s a rookie, plays like it and has a leaky offensive line. Your old OC was awful. The interim guy developed a game plan to meet Williams where he is now - not a year or two from now. Designed runs, encouraged him to scramble instead of hanging in the pocket, and emphasized short routes and getting the ball out to avoid drive-killing sacks. Frankly, the Packers were not prepared for it and they should have been, but credit to Williams who also made some good decisions and great throws. Get him In rhythm and confidence, and the downfield throws will eventually be there. God the Bears can’t develop QB’s.

Yes a loss. We scored touchdowns, protected our qb. We had sustained drives and scored. In the end we lost by 1point to our oldest rival, that hurt. But we showed up, we played with passion. Big improvement in my eyes. I will appreciate what we did right in this game. We looked like a team for the first time in weeks.
@randombiasedrevert4 сағат бұрын
Honestly I’m still very upset. That was the most winnable game and they lost because the coach is scared
@keithw19664 сағат бұрын
But, overall, we improved dramatically. That's important. Been a Bears fan for 60+yrs. At some point we have to trust the coaches and players. This constant rotation of qb and coaching is not working. All the preseason hype was crap. Stick to 1 qb and 1 coaching staff and we will win games.

Why isn’t Olin coaching that line??!
@ajg87226 сағат бұрын
Because George McCaskey doesn’t like him and is cheap. when Olin was approached to be a coach for the bears they wanted to pay him like $15 an hour.

This loss reminds me of the Matt Naggy era... they played not to loss... Andy Reed and the Chiefs would have played to score a TD, not to kick a field goal.
@RedHoodFH5 сағат бұрын
Yeah but also Nagy had to deal with Trubisky as his QB, he knew the guy was limited. I guarantee if he had Caleb, he would not be coaching to lose.

A few things, the gB coach was awful down I the redone early. Second, what 5 plays 80 yards GB goes down ( when needed ) gets a TD and the lead, Its more than the FG Blocked

There is a consistent trend where our players don't understand situational strategies and awareness. This falls on the coaches for not preparing players correctly and/or communicating in real time what approach to take. On the bright side, Thomas Brown called a great game!!! We will see in weeks to come how things play out.

Bad coaching
@joem84965 сағат бұрын
How to feel? The season is lost. Flus and the coaches are gone. All that matters now is can caleb develop and Thomas Brown gave us a huge boost that he can do that. So I'm happy. They're not making the playoffs so who cares. Plus if they start winning, Flus will be back. I'm not rooting for them to lose, but I'm also not sure winning really helps us. Just need to develop.
@joem84965 сағат бұрын
Also, it's not a rivalry. We've been out coached for 30 years. And now we're about to get destroyed by the better teams in the division. So the question is does anyone care we're the worst team in the division? It's not just the puckers.
@PhilipJayFry15 сағат бұрын
Noone thought we would win this game. The fact that we had a chance to win off a kick every single bears fan would take that any time. That's why it's positive. The hail Mary won't always hit and the kick won't always get blocked. We are right there. Be happy caleb is positive after this one cause after Washington this team broke. Let's not break again after a loss like this

My point exactly…..Caleb was on fire in that last drive. He was moving the ball. So why not let him cook for 1 or 2 more plays before kicking the FG. Who knows, the way he was on fire in that last drive might have hit a TD. We don’t know……but we do know he was on target on that last drive

Saquan should’ve been a Bear Connor Williams should’ve been a Bear Ben Johnson should’ve been the coach of the Bears We draft an injured OL in the 3rd round of the draft…. He’s still hurt… We draft a punter in the fourth round of the draft… he’s average… Not a knock on Rome, but wouldn’t Brock Bowers been a better pick…. A receiver and a blocker…. Seeing this offseason , you knew this was going to happen…

@ I never liked the hiring of Poles. He has literally missed on 75% of the draft picks, not went out of his way to trade or sign anyone legit for that O-Line, hired Fluss (who then retained him for 5 more year and allowed him to sign Waldron), traded Roquan for a bag of peanuts, got robbed by the Steelers (2 times) with Claypool and Fields, singed Nate Davis, Patrick Scales and so many who were a waste of money or injured coming in), let Monty go to Detroit. I mean I can go on. Only thing he did right was the Montez Sweat trade and trading away the 1st pick to the Panthers in exchange for DJ and picks.

When this head coach is making decisions when he’s in a position to get a point, he should get a point. I’ve always felt that if you need to go for two points you only do it when you really need it. I thought that he gambled early when he didn’t need too. just get the point when you can get a point. The Block field goal would’ve taken them into overtime.

And I'm sure nobody takes it seriously but the man knows football and he is the bear. Like with all the greats none are literally the "bear" out there with a bears uniform on more than Urlacher.
