Great information, thanks! I sort of do the opposite. I look at sequences that have a lot of whole house effects and bypass buying them as I know I will never get anywhere near that much of my house covered (I do not want too), so figured it wasn't worth getting. I may re-look at how I see for sale sequences.

I would be inclined to do the same; especially when so much of a sequence is riddled with them. They have a place but too much and I think the sequencer is being lazy.

This is great for us with smaller shows. I'd like to see more of this! How do I deal with with whole house effects that are meant to look like search lights?

Search me... Since I can only think of one sequence where I have search lights I think you are going to need to put that on your matrix and mega tree.

Excellent points regarding number of props and display styles (house vs land) I have quite a few props but spread over part of house visible from the street and a large yard. I want to convert from superstar to xLights but wonder if I will get the xTreme Sequence look I am after?

I complained about this very issue! However, my wife's solution was to buy me more props for 10k more pixels :) My shaders and whole house effects look amazing on my new layout.
