I have a "70 Bee as well; the doors open and close without a problem. I also have a '69 Road Runner that will break your thumb off when opening the door from the outside, especially the passenger side. This video is helpful.

My aftermarket door handle on my 69 charger keeps bowing the outer door skin. I haven't figured it out yet, possibly it is undercoat inside the door thats in the way?
