I appreciate this video brother, I am getting ready to go through the steering column on my '70 Charger Jezebel, I am mainly swapping out the steering shaft itself for a manual shaft which is longer. I will probably reference you video a couple of times while I doing that. Keep up the good work man.

Thanks for this. Doing the steering column in my '70 Satellite right now and this helped a ton.

Appreciate the video, and I also appreciate how hard it is to film while working on these things, as well as keeping your thoughts straight. Great job, man...

These sort of videos really help. I am putting my 68 coronet back together and seeing it in the flesh is better than any manual. M

Glad I can help some! I'm the same way and figure I'd try to give some pointers along the way since I'm learning as well!

Take good care of the ignition switch. If it's a US71L they don't have replacement anymore. At least I cannot find 1. Great video, thanks

Good video. Your car is a 70 but does not have the locking steering column feature? I am doing my 70 Superbird column now and was hoping to see some tips on removing the lock plate and pin without using "special too C-4113".

Great video! Are you going to do a wiper motor/ arms assembly, and ac/heater box video?
@HighRevNation

Sure will! Waiting to tackle the heater box, however, it should happen in the next week or so. Just gotta get off my rear and get it done. As for the wiper motor and assembly, I'll take that on a bit later.

I have a 67 Coronet. My steering wheel would shake like mad at 1100 rpm no matter in park or driving. I pulled the column and my lower bearing was smoked. I replaced it and reinstalled. The steering wheel still shakes at 1100 rpm with less amplitude. Its as if the column is resonant at 1100 rpm. I work the wheel and there is bearing slop on the upper bearing. Id say .5 thousands, Just enough to feel slight looseness. Is that bearing hard to replace now that its back in the car? I have video on my channel showing the vibrations at 1100 rpm.

Thank you for your video. Question I have my dash board frame out, what color black you recommend? I was thinking of a satin black as not to be to shiny that it would reflect off the windshield.

I used SEM "Landau Black" for all my interior colors. Seem to match well with factory black parts!
