In today's video we continue the teardown of the 68. Removing the 327 and powerglide. We also removed the complete interior and everything off the firewall. We are prepping for a molded firewall and a complete color change paint job. Enjoy! Stay tuned for work!

Other than having a few little rust spots here and there, the paint job on this car looks impeccable considering for a 1968. I really like the grey blue factory finish tone paint job on this car. Why don’t you just keep the same original color, rather than changing it for another one. It’s only a suggestion. Johnny, Montréal, Canada 🇨🇦

Looks like you had a "Full Crew" working. The car is Super Solid which saves tons of time and money. You guys made a mess out of how to pronounce Tonawanda which is at the far West of New York State. That is where they build all the Special Motors. And my Father was born their. The frame steel looks to be a lot of work to fit to the original frame but Bobby looks like he has a handle on it. Is Bobby going to do his frame ???

Good morning Ed! The frame is alot of work, but with the portapower clamp.we made it goes quick. Bobby is a welder by trade so he has it under control.

@@lonestarlows That Portapower clamp is a big help. Bobby being a Welder is a Bonus, his work looks Great :-)

I paid 3,000 for mine that is in far worse condition than yours you stole this more or less with that $600. 17:40 he says it’s a lot of work for one person to disassemble the dash, he’s not wrong took me a good 8 hours by myself but I also was fighting 2 rusted bolts and nuts for every good one that would come off easy. I also disassembled the actual dash to clean out the rust and corrosion inside, I’m replacing each nut and bolt as I go with new ones and I’m planning on drawing or printing a template to use to paint over and restore the white lettering and numbers for all the gauges and needles while looking into a replacement circuit board.

That steering wheel on this car looks ugly and the Chevy should have its original one restored back again. Thank you.
