Two Welders running at the same time :-) You have this Flush Firewall thing figured out for sure. Everything looks very nice.

This is your Boy Eric from Southern Cali. I love your videos. I can't get enough of them. I have a question for you. Tell me how did you make that hydraulic C clamp or where did you get that from that you use when you're reinforcing frames. Thank you so much. Your Boy Eric from So.Cali.

It's a harbor freight port-a-power that we made a clamp for it to fit in. Pretty easy to make

Thanks for your quick response. Can you tell me how you made it? I have to port a power already but if you let me know what material to get that will be greatly appreciated.

I'll see if my buddy still has the pics he took of it. I currently let someone borrow it so it's not here, and won't be for a while. He's wrapping his frame

I’m doing my firewall on my 66 impala. Wish I would of seen this about 3 weeks ago. I made a 1 piece firewall. I hammered in around the brake flange an flip the brake bolts to make it flush. I see you didn’t use any weld through primer as well on inner an outer wall. Watch out for the quick rust that can develop because of moisture. Weld through primer will prevent this or you will have major rust problems in the near future. But great video overall

Iv always thought that was cool..... Have you ever done the trunk or under the hood before and is it the same process? I'm most likely going to do my trunk lid do to prior damage and hey.... It's only 2 more weekends worth of customer work so why not!!!

I've never done the underside. Maybe I will on the 60. Same process

Not all are that flat and much harder to do. Red Rosin paper is used under hardwood flooring, sold at home improvement stores as it come on rolls 3 feet X 100 foot for $12. A broom stick fits the center, mount on the wall and not as thick as poster board but goes a long way. If room on the dash side of the firewall allowed for some round bar, as long as not seen or interferes with other parts, I would add it to increase structural to eliminate oil canning or un-wanted noise while flexing. After all, that is why it is stamped in there. DK, ASE master retired

Nice! I have a bagged 65 cadillac drop that I need to do this to I haven't worked on it in a couple years. It's in bare metal now which I'm going to clear it and roll it for a couple years before I paint it.

Speaking of firewall, seen the craziest video on a guys hoped up trans am. 500 something swap wall cut out with transmission running in middle of seat. The little hump thing between the seats I mean. Dude drove 500 something miles like that. Can't remember if it was on 1320 outlaws week or something else. Thing was nuts on the inside.
