I'm a big fan of The Who. And I had the incredible chance to find this pinball in the pub in front of my school when I was a teenager. I spend maaaany time on it and always had a great pleasure. The multiball with black screen on flippers is unforgetable ^^

This is one of my FAVORITE pinball games EVER! I honestly like it more than many of Williams/Bally pins, and that says a lot. I love Brian Schmidt's renditions of The Who's songs, and the game gets even more challenging with the blinders. I'll play this game regardless of how rough condition it is...

Yes I never did like data east and I would always play Williams because of the feel. But this one blew my mind

Last time I played this was in the early 1990's in England (Southend-On-Sea and Margate) and absolutely fell in love with it. To me it is the my pinball-machine of my dreams and maybe the pinball-machine I've wasted most of time in my life with and lotsa Pounds-Sterling --- my absolutely favourite pinball machine of all times. Problem is, that I do not have the space. I have the money, but wouldn't know where to place this in my house. Sorry, here in Germany we have small houses.

For some reason Data East loves ridiculously loud sounds. If you've played Rocky & Bullwinkle or Jurassic Park lately you'll see what I mean.

Stunning, simply stunning. As usual. Wish some people in the UK did the work as well as you guys. The only issue I have is all the LEDs surly the original bulbs give a more genuine feel/look to the games? LEDs seem too bright at times.

It takes a special set of skills to re-engineer custom boards like this (at least, that is my opinion). Great work on keeping the blind active. Great idea to make a run of boards as well while you're at it. I'm sure other Tommy's have failing boards after so many years. I couldn't see in the video, but the propellers spin on the plane, correct? I remember playing this back when it was released in my local arcade, and trying to look under the blind when it deployed. Really caught me by surprise in one of the game modes.

You would need a one red light and one in green light for Port and Starboard sides I think for the airplane

Refurb runs between $2500 and $3000 for Tommy..including super bright LED's!

DisneyQuest in downtown Disney has all the pinball and arcade machines on freeplay. A lot of fix it Felix arcade machines in there too.

Brilliant! But one of my pet hates (being English) is seeing the Union Jack upside down. The flag is upside down on the left speaker, yet the right way up on the right. Instruction card is bob on. It's upside down on the playfield, but the real flag isn't square anyway. Great table, so I'll cut some artistic slack this time. ONLY this time! :P

coins in bulk meritline.com is fairly cheap ebay bulk? eh only for crap I don't care about. rarely have issues with meritline coins think Frank is more like me.
