69 Chevelle Rebuilt and Tested on Dyno

Upon the discovery of metal shavings in the oil pan of the 1969 Chevelle, a comprehensive disassembly, inspection, and reassembly process was undertaken in readiness for testing on the dynamometer. We are pleased to present the test results.

Rear horsepower is different than the horsepower on a typical dynamometer like Nick's Garage. The rear differential uses up some of the horsepower.

Big block should be making way more power than a measly 310 horsepower.

310 to the wheels on a hub dyno… Our end result after converting the wheel horsepower figures to crank was 498hp. Our 800hp shop truck Dyno’s at 568whp

Great ear! The car needed the valves adjusted a couple time after initial startup.
