Wow, mate! She's more kinky than the entire cast of the Rocky Horror Show, I reckon. I somehow doubt that anything short of Aladdin's lamp could resurrect that beast - too many non-factory bends in the structural componentry. Like you, I hope the bloke (or blokette) who was behind the wheel can feel their injuries, because at least then they are still kicking. I remember when I wrapped my Mk1 Cortina GT around a tree at 55mph and ended up with a door that would not open and one that would not shut, my Dad took one look at it and said "Well, boy - you've got yourself a nice Concertina GT there!". The lap and diagonal seatbelts saved me, but man was I sore....and very happy to have walked away from it!

2 words: Dynacorn Body. Tough, hard hit on that one. Serious injury, at a minimum. The old classics never allowed the driver to escape unscathed like the modern ones will. Can't imagine someone taking a true 69 Z28 and turning it into that setup, my gut feeling this is just an emblem job on a standard Camaro. But ya never know.

Brings back memories of being a body man back in the 70's, seen many a unibody car folded up like that. That busted windshield seems too low for it to be the driver's head but you never know, if he/she wasn't wearing a seat belt it might happen. Nothing worse than seeing long blond hair and some scalp in a busted windshield on the passenger side. Hope everyone is ok.

Oh no, that indicates some injuries to the driver, sore is probably an understatement. Unfortunately the damaged shown definitely indicates a buckling of the frame behind the doghouse. That's a definite death.
@kiwiclassicsandcustoms9160

There was no sign of that inside the car so I hope that's not case. I will try and find out more about it and report back here.
@davidedgar2818
@davidedgar2818 3 ай бұрын
@@kiwiclassicsandcustoms9160 there are creases behind the doghouse in a vertical line that is my indicator. Diagonal measurements should be done of the frame rails to assure square and I would certainly grind a bit to assure the original structure integrity hasn't been compromised in a previous repair. It plain ol looks like it needs some serious evaluation.

@@kiwiclassicsandcustoms9160 It would be a shame to lose such a classic. Just the engine and trans. would require major money just to confirm their integrity. I've driven tow truck in Arizona and was working in a mechanics bay at an auto body shop. I'm always sad to see such loss.😣
