Nice thumper!! Friend of mine has 2 old rigs. Thumper on a 1950s chev and a rotary on a '62 White.. Jimmy up top, 5.9 Cummins under the hood.. he only runs the rotary if he needs quick money.. crazy. You're cruising right along there! Hy-tran is good stuff! We get it by the bucket. Got a truck with an 80 gallon hydraulic tank. Filled it almost 20 years ago with 303 bulk. Dad about 💩 when we got the bill!! At the time, it would have cost about half, to fill it with hy-tran out of 5 gallon buckets... Good to see you and your thumper! Thank you!

Good day. Thanks for posting. I'm curious to know...how do you like the cable stays versus auto braces? Also the cable stays on this rig appear to only go to the frame of the drill rig. Looks pretty stable in your video. Makes me wonder why most cable stays I've seen look like a maypole....

That rig is a 2 piece derrick welded at 27 feet. It is really solid and good pull back. Downfall is we can only clear 10 ft of casing. The fellow we got it from drilled mostly rock. I could change it back to 42 ft but we have been happy with it. Nice for well service work quick setup. Cables are fine on this one. I will video it in future and give a closer look. Thanks

Good day D. What does D stand for Is tht the Deutz motor u bought down here? Boy hy-tran at 205 litres comes to 9.00/litre. So been busy with this. Thanks for now

Yep it's a Deutz we got it from Minto AG. Yep pricey oil but stands the heat without needing a cooler. Lot's of work out there and I be taking a bit of a break in a couple of months Lol.

That is way different than the well rigs here in South Carolina.
