So, this was the "high point" for Philly 6? ... Before this their signal was A+ with an antenna throughout the broadcast area. After this their broadcast signal (still in 2023 on the Ch. 6 VHF frequency) is the "laughing stock" 🤣of the city, forcing viewers into paid Streaming, Cable or Satellite just to watch their local station. That's the reason Ch. 6's "trashy signal" became the "punching bag" of Tyler, The Antenna Man (he's a local of the Delaware Valley and knows these problems since he was a child). PS: My area has a similar situation with Ch. 7 and 11, still on the original VHF frequencies, and going from the strongest signals to some of the weakest...

Ever noticed how since the Switch there us nothing on TV? I can't be the only one to notice this.

Yes, and the commercials are getting longer. I also find sub-channels more interesting than the main channels.

the Writers Strike has been slow poison to mainline broadcasters and some of the older cable networks. Everything is so fractured it's hard to get all the good creatives in one room and really nail a good concept down. The democratization and expansion of distribution means that all the good programming is spread over so wide a market that it's hard to see it unless someone points it out.
