As to your point about an 18 year old buying a long gun - funny how you are quick to point out how he’s not old enough to buy a beer but ignore that an 18 year old can Engage in relationships with 60 year olds Get married Start families Enter contractual agreements Sue and be sued And above all join the military and fight for this country Average age of a Vietnam soldier 19 Seems we have no issue sending 18 year olds off to war, but now due to a few bad apples you want take their rights away and treat them as children. I don’t not agree with, they can’t drink alcohol. I say - if you want to treat them like children, then do it across the board, or treat them as adults across the board, but you can’t have BOTH. BTW. The NRA!!! Back in the 50's the NRA's main goal was teaching Marksmanship and safety . Today's NRA is concerned about political clout. Not about safety or marksmanship. It's also about politicians so concerned about their political future and how much money they can make, that children's lives be damned as far as Republicans are concerned. And don't believe the GOP'S BS about abortion. The only reason Republicans say they are against abortion so that they can seem credible when it comes to not wanting to kill children when in fact a Republican will race his pregnant wife or girlfriend off to a place were an abortion can be performed. You see they really don't care it all its just a facade.

How was New York able to violate the 4th amendment? Unconstitutional guns laws depriving honest law abiding citizens the right to self defense. It’s has been proved that a community that has individuals that can legally defend themselves has lower crime rates. And lower crime rates mean less interactions with the police, no reason for stop and frisk. How does this happen? The criminal doesn’t know who is armed, and is less inclined to pick on strangers, and therefore contribute to rising crime rates. Isn’t something how more legal guns actually results in lower crime?
