So awesome that we have some rolls by such fantastic modern day masters like Peter! I've still yet to figure out if I can get one of those piano rolls Frederick Hodges recorded, they're the kind of thing you hear about in legends xD

This "Peter Mintun" doesn't appear on any Ampico artists list, is it a "nom d'artiste" ?

Peter Mintun is very much a real pianist and a dear friend. This was a roll cut later in the 70s or 80s? Here's a video of Peter playing it himself. kzbin.info/www/bejne/a3zZZ61mjc2fgNUsi=VkZTcZZPt18ZGB_n

@@Yalie06405 Thanks for your precisions, and congratulations for being one of Peter friends. I do also appreciate Peter Mintun's unique playing and singing, by the way. I'm even able to understand his appreciation about this roll : "not bad" kzbin.info/www/bejne/kGqmh6qQibh9m5Y (James Dyrenforth-John W. Green) ! Do you know if Peter ever recorded more Ampico rolls ?

@ClassicCabFrance Peter also did "Waltz in Swingtime" and "It's The Animal In Me" which was a duet with Frederick Hodges. These were also available on Duo Art. All fantastic arrangements!

@@Yalie06405 Frederick did tell me the duet rolls were never released or something like that. Maybe they were but didn't make a full run?
